I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my Vet and her unnecessary Fructosamine test that she is holding Daphne's insulin hostage over, and wants nothing to do with the SS, which she would have more then enough test to get an accurate average from. :YMSIGH:

Put a call into the Vet who diagnosed her (she left the practice and opened up her own business, in which she specializes in spay and neutering), to see if she will use Daphne's SS for the insulin renewal.

Thanks Linda, that's the frustrating part, all this data, and she won't even look at it.

Daphne is 17 years old, all I wanted to do is save a much hated car ride for her. So I am going to look into a traveling Vet in my area. My Vet won't budge on the unnecessary Fructosamine test. So for now we will use the old insulin till we get her visit from the new Vet. Hope she doesn't have a waiting list.

We had to pick my son up from college tonight,... I didn't get to visit too many condos, so I'll visit tomorrow, sorry.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend, all kitties and beans

I hope you're able to find a mobile vet. I have seen ads for one in the Hopewell Valley News, but I know nothing about them.

Don't worry about condos...have a great evening with your son!

Vets! cat(2)_steam
Mookie's vet wanted to do a fructosamine test too, even with all the SS data, and we said no. She did give us a refill, though. Good luck finding another vet.
Daphne's numbers look great! Enjoy your son and have a wonderful weekend.

That is ridiculous! Vyktor's vet said something about giving him a fructosamine tet but that was just out of habit, he quickly agreed there was no need when I asked what the test results would be able to add to the results of all the home testing I do. Hope you're having/had a lovely night with your son.
