China's definitely not eating as well as she should (but who would with a broken tooth?) so I'm watching her like a hawk
They can't get her in for a dental until Friday, but I can go pick up more bupe to at least try to keep her comfortable. It did seem to help last night and I just gave her the morning dose so I'm hoping her appetite will pick up some once it kicks in.
Going to be a busy week! DM goes to PT Tuesday and Friday and they called from the hearing center today to let me know that the hearing aid she lost (and we had to have replaced) has come in so I have to go up and pick it up. The hearing center is in Jefferson City (about 50 miles) and so is the vet, so when I go up to pick up the bupe, I'll grab the hearing aid too...Kill two birds so to speak. Probably be Wednesday before I get up there though. Want to stick close to home for a day or two just to make sure China does OK with the bupe

I just looked at yesterday's condo, did you end up looking into Care Credit? I used it for Noodle's hospital stay and it was seamless. I had it in minutes and didn't even need the physical card, just the account number (I'd say painless... but I just paid the first bill-ouch!).
China's numbers look great today, but I hope that's not because she's not eating enough. I know you're feeling her pate. Will she eat it with extra water? How about giving her baby food? (Like you haven't already thought of these things! )
I'm glad the Bupe is helping. It's great that they'll give you more to tide her over. Sending lots of pain relief vines for her.
Thanks for thinking of my DSIL. No news except they're still pumping fluids into her. I hate living so far from family. I just don't get kept in the loop on what's going on.

She'll usually down between 4.5 and 5 oz of FF a day and so far today, I haven't been able to get even 1.5 oz in her. She did eat some baby food, but only about 1.5 teaspoons
Piling on more vines for pain relief. Newer bupe should help her there. I'm glad you can get China in for a dental on Friday. I had to wait so much longer for Neko's, but that was with a dental specialist.
Eat please sweet China - you'll feel better inside with fuds in you.
Well I've opened 4 cans already today (and one jar of baby food) and she's mostly just licking a little and turning away
With that drop tonight from 144 to 82, I opened a 5th can of a little higher carb and hoping she licked enough of it to slow her down some!
Gave her another .3 of bupe but it hasn't been 12 hours yet, so I guess I'm going to have to try to find a way to run to the vet tomorrow and get some more bupe. I still have 2 syringes, but if it's lost it's effectiveness, it's not going to help her much
And a different jar of baby food on top of it! Couldn't find any BeechNut when I ran to the store today so got Gerber instead...guess if the cornstarch does bring her BG up, it's ok at this point!
I give Max Gerber's often. The cornstarch in it isn't tat much and he duesbt get much of a BG bump from it. If she eats it and still drops I would add a few drops of karo to the baby food.
I give Max a good tablespoon of Gerbers many mornings after his gelcap. It really doesn't cause much of a bump but with the karo it should work. He likes it much better than Beechnut which doesn't have the cornstarch. The last couple of mornings he turned down Beechnut. So I think that the combo will work. I'm so sorry about China's tooth. Max didn't show any sign that two of his were broken and there was the big cavity too. He had so much tartar none of it could be seen until he had his teeth cleaned. The bupe can be constipating so be ready with Miralax as well.
