Hi Kathy, it can't hurt to try it. I looked up tumeric powder for cats and it says its safe.
I was wondering about it in case he licked it
It says
Absolutely! Turmeric is good for cats, but only as long as you give your cat pure powdered turmeric that is medicinal. This means high-quality turmeric only and not anything that you would typically find in a grocery store.
You can Google high quality tumeric power for cats
Although the video didn't say she used high quality

OK thanks Diane! I bought from the grocery store so I will look more. The person in the video probably got it from an ayurvedically prepared source.
