hi all,
as always praying for Butthead, Tori and Simon...as well as Ele, WCF and Cheryl

Rocket decided to eat pretty good last night but he was reclusive....he looked tired but i was ok letting him sleep and be alone in the spare room as he was eating ok....

Today so far he's eaten so so....he ate lots last night but not today....he is alert and cuddly...he knows Comet is not here and i'm worried as he is on the futon with me all purry away...and he has not done that in a long time

As per Comet.....DH took him for 7:30 am drop off...surgery was scheduled at 10:30 am (makes me mad the early drop off but whatever)....since they've had 2 bad emergencies that require surgery...my poor Comet's surgery has been bumped to 1 pm......i'm not happy as Comet has not had anything to eat since last night....i know it's procedure but that means they won't let him come home until night time...so DH has to go pick him up while i care for Rocket...which is no big deal...i just feel bad for him being in a cage at the hospital....i hope he is sleeping....this is me venting and worrying....will update when i have news

See rocket is there for you today, give and take! ;-) Such a good boy helping his momma to try not to worry bout his brother...
Thanks for the update i for one will keep checking in..I am sure Comet is okay there, but I know how it feels when our babies are away, hungry and in strange place!...

I had to drop Willie off for his dermatology and IM visits a couple weeks ago and hated it!! Though, I found out later that Willie was apparently quite the charmer and had the techs all wrapped around his finger. :lol: :lol:

Nice +6 for Rocket today... glad he is keeping you company!!

Thoughts and prayers going out for all of you... good surgery outcome for Comet, safe travels with Comet for DH, prayers for continued stability for Rocket and prayers for you, worrying about it all!

i just called the hospital and Comet is still in surgery.... nailbite_smile nailbite_smile

Rocket has behaved for me and eaten his snack this afternoon....he is sleeping away right now....all belly up...

Comet is out of surgery...

as per the nurse he is doing ok...he should be ready to come home between 6- 7 pm...so DH will have to go pick him up....i have not been able to speak with the vet...all the nurse said is that they have sent the lump to the lab and that could take up to 1 week for results...

Glad he's out of surgery. He'll want his Nurse taking care of him tonight too.

Had to stop by and say that I am Glad Comet is OK and will be home soon..And that Rocket is doing better..
You are always in my thoughts & I always pray for Rocket every day!..I have been spending much time with my kitties, as much as I can..They never disappoint me ;-) --
May your troubles lighten, and may Healing vines make all in your home Well..

Happy Comet is doing well, yes, it will be nurse overdrive tonite for you!
It sucks that you have to wait a week for results, but I will pray that everything is for the good!

I'm glad Comet is safely out of surgery and I hope he is ok tonight. I am praying that everything looks good once they get back the results. Keeping you in my thoughts tonight.

Hi Claudia - I am glad that the surgery went well. It is always so nerve wracking when they are there. I am glad to read too that Rocket had a decent day - that is wonderful. as always you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Claudia, We are glad to hear that Comet's surgery went well and are thinking positively for a good report. Too bad it takes a week! Rocket knew you were worried about Comet and spent lots of time with you to comfort you. What a great kitty he is! I hope that all of you will have a good night tonight. Prayers, healing vines and snowflakes, as always.

Comet is home...he looks pretty spacey and looks pretty weak....he is wearing a cone and the incision is big underneath his chin....he seems to be in pain...we are to give him abs and pain meds....so my nursing duties for both my furbabies have began....

so call me NURSE CLAUDIA or NURSE MOMMY!!!

as soon as Comet walked in the door Rocket went to smell him....he paused and has stayed close by....they're smart these two...when one goes in to the vet the other comes to greet him at the door....almost as though telling one another "oh sorry dude...it was your turn this time"

i feel bad for Comet and i hope the results are in sooner than later...i really would like to know what it is they removed...

Rocket ate ok at pmps time....

Oh I'm glad Comet is home. It's to be expected that he would be spacey and a bit weak: after all, he's had surgery. We all would be in the same boat after surgery. You'll see: tomorrow he'll be feeling much better. He just needs to sleep and eat a little. Rocket is so sweet to welcome him home and comfort him.

I saw the change to your signature. I'm glad your sense of humor/irony is intact. Give Comet a chance to have the anesthesia wear off.

am so happy comet is home and nurse mama is about to work double time!
That is super nice of Rocket to greet him! when one of my kitties comes home the others hiss and batt at them, not nice at all, not nice...Rocket is much more supportive!

it's been a pretty quiet evening so far but Comet is now restless...so i gave him some pain med....

Rocket however surprised me with that +4.5 315....back to pink!!!

off to the nursing duties....
