LL beans! It is I!, Mannie, kitteh barista! For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls..... PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers....OH! Tea infusions too, by request. They is primo too! I SWEAR! Today:Cheery cherry vanilla chai!! Psssstttt.... I gots scones and croissants too!

Yesterday was..... broken GPS day. I swear Mannie's must be, as he just seems to get lost on his way to the blue grotto all the time... The numbers were horrible yesterday, possibly a bounce form the low low yellows, aka blue wanna-be Numbers, of the day before. I will be taking his dose up a notch, probably tonight when I have the weekend home to keep an eye on him. Things are settling some for him, but I think now we need to get the insulin back on board, nudge him down just a little. I hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! All is well in MannieLand. Mannie had an OK day yesterday. His mobility was fairly good, with only a few issues throughout the day. Nicholas and I were gone most of the day, so it is hard to day what was what during the day,. We both gave him pets when we left, he gave us purrs. We told him to take good naps, keep a safe watch over then nanners, and stay warm in his bed. It seems that he did just that. Well done Nanner King. Mannie has been very affectionate during testing the past few days. He usually does purr during them , but the past few days they have been really loud purrs. It's be kinda nice. I will sit with him for a few after testing, give scritches and pets for all the purrs I get in return. :-D :cool: Appy has been good (picky !!!, but good, go Cowboy Cookout!), CPC yesterday and this morning, LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: I am happy to say one more time: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I am on DGS duty today. Today will be a swim day for Nicholas. WOO HOO! Back in the pool! Paws crossed on the weather, as I hope we can get some outdoor time too. ..... I hope to visit condos when time permits, it is so tough to do while he is here. I will miss you guys! Think blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody! WOO HOO - what funs in the treehouse yesterday - and the zip lines! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! We went so fast! You guys wanna go to the beach today? I feel like having sand in my toes.... and walking the boardwalk, and eating eating eating at all those eateries! Maybe some beach volleyball too! and and castles! with Moats! What'd'ya say? The treehouse was awesome and I loved the zipline. We went so fast. The beach sounds great. Maybe that hot dog guy will be there and I want some pastries. See ya soon! - T

It does seem like Mannie is flattening out a bit the past few days so hopefully the dosecrease will just ease his whole curve down a bit. Have a great day with Nicholas. :-D

Sounds like Mannie had a pretty good day yesterday while you were out. Good idea to nudge up his insulin dose. We don't want his body to think of the higher numbers as "normal". The pics from yesterday are so neat. What a film archive you have, Michelle!

The beach is perfect today! It's snowing here and I don't like it. Tomorrow it will be 50, so it will all melt away, yay. But today, it's cold and snowing! Ick!

My bean is thrilled that it's cheery tea day that she is dancing around the house waiting for your delivery of cheery tea and scones! Silly bean, she can make tea herself and not have to wait. Silly....

How did you get lost? My bean has a really good GPS she calls Sebastian, he knows where to go without any problem. Maybe I can "borrow" Sebastian for you. He does talk funny, he talks like an Aussie, which my bean really likes... :YMSIGH: Maybe this will help you find the blue floors and grotto better.

Have you seen my nipsocks? I had them in my wagon and I think you added them to your nanner pile to make it extra soft for me to zipline onto them. But now I can't find them anywhere and I like my nipsocks, my bean made them for me. Would you check the nanner pile and see if they are there please. And don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about.

Mannie - i've got sand everywhere! I should have been more careful and not dripped mustard all over me. The sand is stuck to it everywhere and my bean wants to rinse me off... HA!! What a great day! Body surfing was great fun! - oliver

I think I've given him ample time to adjust to the meds, that the meds are effecting his BG, and this dose has to go up... so this weekend for sure. :-D I think so too on the purrs and pets - very nice when he does that - it was kinda cool. THX too on the pics etc - he is truly as you say: a happy soul. I so hope that never changes.

It has been difficult. I know darn well he needs to adjust to these meds first (as they will be with him for the rest of his days), then we work on the BG's, anything rushed and we end up with the mess we had in dec/jan. so.... hopefully the increase will lower things over all. on Bear: Nicholas has always just called him Bear. easy huH! :lol: :lol: :lol: So the bear is "Bear". and many thanks on the photos - he is such a camera ham, but I love it. It's all alot of fun.

I hope that new dose will give him a little tug down to those bluetiful numbers again. Did you get out and enjoy the sunshine today? The weekend is a great time to do that increase.

Hi Wendy - me too on the dose. Nicholas and I did get out. Probably not as much as we should have, as the pool took alot of time. What we did do was fantastic! such sunny skies!
