Since a fellow PZI'er so nicely offered to kittysit so we can go to Aunt Tina's a couple of days next week, I was thinking of extending Hershey to 12:30 cycles to get him to a normal shot time. Thought we'd start in a day or two, get through this work shift. But, noooo - Hershey had other plans -

Can't wait too much longer to feed them, though. A few minutes ago, Hershey growled at Oreo and they looked at each other as if to see who would eat whom! :lol: I assured them it had not come to that ;-)

:20 (209) - Considering his history, I think I'll wait 1 more time - I know, y'all would probably tell me to go ahead. Problem is, none of y'all are on right now (4:14am @-) @-) )
+14 (279) - Scale says .7u, but my eyes are way too tired for that, so going with .6u and say, "Goodnight, Gracie"

PMPS (411) .9u - well, a fat .8, so I'm thinking that's .9

Great numbers for Hershey! Sorry they came at such an inopportune time that we had all bailed on you!

Getting up with an alarm is much easier than staying up like that! This past two weeks has reminded me of that and that ever present fact that I'm SOOOO not 20! Nonetheless, we do what we do for our babies!

I keep reminding myself of how much effort it took to get up and bottle feed 5 kittens every 3-4 hours. But the rewards and bonds with them 8 years later still amaze me!

...the difference is, however, that I can get up, test and shoot, and fall back asleep 5-10 minutes later. The feeding took an hour, and by then I was wide awake!

He seems to get a long duration cycle every couple of weeks. It will be interesting to see how this cycle goes, I'm hoping this is the start of yellow PS's.

I'm glad to see that things are going to work out so you can go visit your Aunt.

I've tried setting the alarm and taking a nap, sometimes still do. But, last night Jessica was writing a paper until close to midnight and Doug was going to coming in ~2am, so it made sense to me to just stay up. Now, had I known he was thinking slumber party, I definitely would've napped!

Soooo - guess my math is even worse when sleep deprived because I missed his +6. And, whyyyyyy didn't he say anything???? (Smacking forehead repeatedly) So, his +6 test was actually +7.5 (369). WHAT is that????

I do need to move him back to 4:30 before Sun so we can get a +6 on him and still get to church. But, I don't know that I should play with the time for this cycle...

Had wanted to wait ~:30 and retest that (369), but got tied up on a call I had to take. But, I guess the most important thing is to catch the low numbers and press on...
 
So much for the start of yellow PS's. Off day all the way around - need to adjust him back to 4:30, but instead it was 5:30pm when he got his shot. :YMSIGH: My daughter called to update me on today's doctor appt and tell me I could tell people she's having a baby! Not like I wanted to cut that call short!! And, Hershey was asleep and didn't seem to mind.

Yes, Sue. It'll be my first grandbaby. They lost one last year, so didn't even want to tell the great-grandparents until after they heard the heartbeat at today's appt. They told the grandparents after the first ultrasound 2/9. But, he said the heartbeat is strong and everything looks good. She goes for the 4D ultrasound in 7 weeks and will learn the gender (party pooper!). Said it's so she can shop the Khol's 80% off sale - anything to justify finding out early ;-)
 
Congratulations! You are going to love being a Nana, my granddaughter tried out Granny for a while :sad: I finally broke her of that.
