Yesterday's Condo

The kitties were thrown off by DST. Ordinarily, Gabby's out of bed in advance of the alarm going off. This morning, there was clearly a "WTF" response from both cats when the alarm sounded. Gizmo has been a pest all morning -- bugging Gabby and using the dining room chairs as a scratching post.

I think the same was true at our house. Sammy has recently been waking me up before the AMPS alarm, but this morning I got to sleep right up until the alarm went off. It was wonderful. Hopefully that will continue, because waking up an hour before I need to just wasn't working for me.

It's so strange I didn't even notice the time change without an FD kitty.

Hi Sienne!! Oversleeping cats... how does that happen? My little goofy ones were up at 4:30 am... just to throw everything into a cocked hat.
Gizmo!!! No, no, little one. Nuzzle your mama. Don't scratch the chair.

My kitties weren't confused at all - maybe because our schedule is ever-changing. They were delighted to have dinner "an hour early" , however.

Gizmo, buggy Gabby is okay, even expected, but using the chair as a scratching post? Bad idea buddy. I'll bet you have an actual scratching post somewhere. Use it. Often. Make the bean happy.
