Good Morning Alll

Checks ate good FF Beef breffis, after I separated it into tiny bits.....woohoo :-D

I think he had pain last night....he was moving slowly, so gave bupe, and he rested comfortably all night in his cube.
At one point I let my mind wander to a very dark place, and got up to check his breathing...when he looked at me and turned his head away so I couldn't test, I left him alone. :smile:

So far, flat yellow is okay. I have a hair appt at his +7....he would be rising by that time anyway, so no worries.

Hi Barb. Glad to hear that Checkers ate all of his breakfast. It looks like you discovered the secret to getting him to eat.

I hope the bupe helps him with his pain.

It was nice to come home from hair appt, to a blue number. I haven't seen that for a few days.
Got to chat with woman about diabetes...hers and my cat's.
I also learned that horses have personalities.....something I didn't know. :-D She loved talking about her horses as much as I do my cats. :-D

It sounds like you had a nice outing today. When I was working I used to ride the bus home with a lady who had diabetes - we talked that all the time: her on hers and me on Mannie. It was fun, and enlightening. Very cool on the horses too. That I do believe, on the personality. I have a friend that has them too, and they are all unique. personalities to the max. Kinda cool, isn't it.

I can relate to the mind wandering.. with the way things have been for Mannie of late I too have been there. In a way I think that helps us care for them better. Nice on the better eating for Checks this morning. Whatever works, huh. Sometimes with Mannie I have to keep it piled n the center of the bowl. like a small mountain. :roll: weird, but it works....

I shot a half hour early.......I think that's like an increase? Would it affect him in this cycle?

Nice to see some blue from Checkers today. Hopefully he'll slide back down for you tonight. That's nice you got to go out and get your hair done and do something for yourself.

Yes on horse personalities. EHID :lol: I used to ride at an academy when I was in elementary and high school and all the horses had distinct personalities. I loved them all. I still think of some of the horses I used to ride.

Did you have warm sunshine today? We did. Rusty went outdoors for a while and enjoyed sniffing the fresh air.

Nice that you could get your hair done. That is a great feeling!

That yellow looks not bad, compared to recently. I was celebrating yellow this morning. :roll: Today's blue looked good too, maybe he's on his way there again. I hope he is feeling better tonight.

It is interesting talking to human diabetics. I have a friend/rowing buddy who gets Lantus once a day, and for a while last year Neko was getting as much in a day as she was. :o
 
I'm glad the bupe help Checks feel better last night - and that you've found a trick that makes him like his fuds!! No surprise about horsies...I am sure that every animal on this planet has his or her own personality...it's very cool indeed.

I hope you guys are enjoying a relaxing evening!!
 
Hang in there Wendy. Hope Checkers can show us some blue in this cycle.
