Buster is doing soooo great! Unfortunately, I have to leave town next week so I will have to force a reduction (DH is a new caregiver and doesn't want any drama). DH will take over Tuesday night. I was thinking of dropping the dose from 1.25u to 1.0u starting on Monday night. Is that enough time to let the depot drain? I will be in the air from +3 to +6 on that first Tuesday night so I need to make sure Buster is at least blue by then. Hoping for blues and yellows while I'm gone (so hard to say when you're addicted to GREEN!). I will be gone Tues night through Friday night and I will resume shooting Saturday morning. Thoughts?

Hi Tara, sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday on this. I think it sort of depends on how dramatic Buster gets in the next couple of days. I think normally 2 doses would be enough to start draining the depot enough with a .25U reduction. But if he were to get dramatic this weekend and decide he wants to visit the bottom of the lagoon, you might give it an extra cycle.

BTW: I think it's fabulous that DH is taking over the Buster care while you are gone. This will be such a great backup for you to have in future.

I'm glad you have a nice backup in DH, even if he is a bit nervous about drama (and I don't blame him!) ;-) . I hope that the dose will give him some nice steady blues while you are gone :-D .
