HAPPY ANNIFURSARY TO MY LITTLE BROWN BEAR!​

Well it was two years ago March 8th that mocha started her OTJ trial run and she's kept it going :mrgreen: She's as sassy as ever and continues to crack me and peter up .. I'm adding a few videos in this condo .. I'm sure you guys won't find her nearly as adorable as we do, but since getting our new camera I can't seem to stop taking videos :lol: If you have your volume up, in the one where she's rolling around in the sun you can hear her purring :-D

We still test mocha, but were down to maybe twice a month .. I still hold my breath :-D I think I always will .. Today she was at 70 :mrgreen:

Things are going well overall in our house .. Peter and I are thinking about going to the Smoky Mountains next month for our 10 year anniversary .. when I told my mom that she said, well that sounds nice .. now if you could only go and actually enjoy yourselves and not be constantly worrying about your kitties! I guess she really does know me :lol:

I also want to say how sorry I am on the loss of so many kitties from LL .. Too many, gone too soon ... It's hard to believe how attached we get to everyone's furbabies on here .. but we do .. and when they move on I think it takes a piece of all our hearts ...

I can see why you named her Mocha. She is so beautiful, and I love her eyes, wide eyed as ever in the first video. I love how she's enjoying her sun bath. Great videos, and they did put a smile on my face. You and Mocha give encouragement to all of us. Congratulations and many, many more OTJ years.

You should definitely go on the trip. That would be a blast. You are right though. Your mom definitely knows you well.

Congratulations!!!!! I remember when Mocha went OTJ...I was a brand new newbie here, and her story was so inspiring. LOVE her videos...I want to get that belly when she's rolling around, and ooooh, those eyes when she's playing on the bed!!!

I hope you and peter enjoy your anniversary celebration. What a great way to celebrate. Enjoy the time, and the fact that you really don't have to worry about your furkids.

I would also like to thank you for continuing to visit all of us here in LL. It is more than appreciated. :-D

Can it really be 2 years already? It seems like just yesterday that we were celebrating Mocha's OTJ after all that time she spent on the juice. Congratulations to you all! I agree that a trip to the Smokeys would be a perfect way to celebrate your wedding anniversary. I remember that you were looking forward to going camping again when Mocha was OTJ.

Wow, has it really been 2 years already?! Congratulations!! That's fantastic! The videos are adorable. I love the way she rolls around in the sunshine bathing. I hope you enjoy your trip and, like your mom, hope you can spend at least some of the time not worrying about the furries. Here's to many more years at the falls drinking24

Thanks everyone!! It's hard to believe it was 2 years ago that we started her trial .. after a loooonnngggg 22 months on insulin! I know others here have been on insulin longer then we ever were and I know how hard and how frustrating it can be .. but I also know how rewarding it can be as well .. FD creates such a bond between us and our kitties, it's hard to explain it to those who have not gone through it ..

I loved watching her enjoy the sunshine - Oreo liked that video, too. I'm afraid Hershey slept through them both. :roll:

Mocha went OTJ before Hershey was diagnosed. I sure am glad you stuck around! I really appreciate all of the encouragement you've given us!!

Wow on 2 years!! Congratulations. dancing_cat dancing_cat I had just joined last year when you had her one year OTJ celebration and put her picture at Niagara for your own wedding anniversary. It inspired me when I started and I still think of it.

Love the video of her rolling around in the sun and purring! She is looking and acting like a kitten. :-D

What a wonderful thing to celebrate. I know how hard it has been for you and Peter to not take vacations. Mocha obviously thinks you need a break! (What she's not telling you is that there are going to be big parties at your place while you're away!!!)

What a beautiful girl, I love the lying in the sun video, you just want to go cuddle and hug her, she looks so adorable. My kitty loves the sun too...well they probably all do from what I've seen of kitties :lol:

I can't believe it's been two years but she is as gorgeous as ever! I love the videos....the close ups on the bed are hysterical and she DOES love that sun. I loved seeing her like that because I never realized she was such a rich chocolate brown!

Devon, what a beautiful baby! Wow, the colors did really change. My GA Flamepoint kitty's colors also changed. Love the baby pic and love her colors both as baby and adult kitty.
 
I cannot wait to visit the Mocha condo. Congratualtions! This must be one of the best thing happened In the Peter Devon & Mocha family. You just cannot imagine how supportive when we see your visitng our condo esp when it's bad times when the beans are on the edge of giving up. Mocha is an angel who brough us the light.
