Good Morning LL! Tess is at least eating the baby food. We had 2 pukus yesterday, one at AM+!! about 5 hours after food and AB, the second at PM+7, 1 hour after food and ABs. I'm calling the vet when they open to get something for her nausea. The Pepcid doesn't seem to be working and she is definitely throwing up food not just clear liquid. She will sniff the food and walk away, even the pill pockets are not enticing her anymore.

Tess actually came to bed w/ me last night and slept there. This morning she was definitely hungry.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club w/ a little encouragement, surprise!

Re: 3/7 Tess AMPS~213

Glad she ate this morning! Poor girl. Tummy isn't feeling good. The Clavamox did that to Tarragon when he was on it. I hope she keeps eating and no more pukus. Healing vines for her tummy. Have a great day Ann!

Re: 3/7 Tess AMPS~213

Poor girl has a tummy ache. I hope it settles down and lets her eat today. Good idea to get the vet in on it.

Re: 3/7 Tess AMPS~213

Hi guys ... poor sweet girl .. I hope the vet can prescribe something that helps her tummy .. feel better sweet girl!

Re: 3/7 Tess AMPS~213

It's a nice sunny yellow start despite the pukus.

Yucko, hard to get ABs if vomiting! Our vet prescribed cerenia for Zener when he was having nausea and motility issues and it was very effective. Liz had to give as an injection for 5 days. We had tried ondansetron but our new vet preferred cerenia injections so you did not have to absorb anything through the stomach. We have paws crossed Tess turns the corner soon.

Oh poor Tess. I hope the Vet can prescribe something for her nausea. Sending some feel better vines for Tess. We have to get you back to partying, Tess, before the Maple Moon party. I'm sure I have the name wrong, but it's tomorrow.

Apparently the little bit of cornstarch in the baby food is no problem.  We aren't doing the normal +11 test because we just got back from the vet. Tess got a shot of Cerenia and some sub-q fluids as she usually gets most of her fluids from her food.. We just found another pukus from earlier today, so I'm really glad we took her in.

I had a thought, this time we got the Clavamox in pill form. The last time she needed it we had the liquid and she had no appetite or nausea problems. Could the different form be the difference in reaction to it?

I'm not sure with kitties...but I know the binders in some pills can cause nausea in humans-
makes sense to me that it could be the case for cats as well.

Hi - no clue on the for on the AB - could be... I hope though that the cerenia helps her. Poor Tess.

nice numbers though.....

Tess - I and the KTSS are coming. You GOTS to be better.... I am so worried.... I will come and see you, OK? ~~ Mannie

Re: 3/7 Tess AMPS~213 ...+9~80 PMPS~116

Tess finally finished her dinner off after about an hour. Anyone know how soon the Cerenia is supposed to kick in and how long it is supposed to last?

Only 3 more doses of Clavamox, I hope she starts keeping her fuds down afterwards. I'm wondering, if she is repeatedly throwing up shortly after the ABs, how much is she really absorbing?

Mannie! I thinks I'm feeling better, at least the fuds are better! I see why you like to share w/ the tiny human so much. Thank you for bringing KTSS. I know I will at least feel good enough to do a special dessert! But I might want to stay away from too many cooking smells. @-) -- Tess

Are you giving the Cerenia injections? Those needles are huge. hope Tess starts feeling better soon.

Re: 3/7 Tess AMPS~213 ...+9~80 PMPS~116

They gave her the shot and the sub-q at the vet's, the expensive way. If she needs more I'll get it to do it my self, I've done sub-q before and I should be able to do the Cerenia. But tomorrow is the last of the ABS, I hope!

Great to seenTess coming back down...poor girl! She's had quite a time with the ABs. I'm glad tomorrow is the last day and the ceremony is working.

I hear the kitties have been smothering her with KTSS. Hope you get dome rest.
