Georgia and Simon (GA)

Hi everyone. I usually post on the lantus board but I need some advice about the proper dose of bupe for Simon. He may have pancreatitis although I just had the fLP1 bloodwork done today and won't know the results until the end of the week. His regular bloodwork showed very high amylase. Simon was getting ready for an OTJ trial when he was put on ear drops for an ear infection related to allergies. His bg skyrocketed after that. Simon has been off the steroid ear drops for 3 days now but his bg is still high. His normal range was between 70 and 120. Now he is high 200's and low 300's. This has all just happened in a few days. My vet gave him bupe tonight to see if his numbers would go down (in case he does have pancreatitis and is in pain). What is the proper dose for bupe? Simon weighs about 14 1/2 pounds and the vet gave him pre-filled syringes with .2 ml in them. Is this ok for a cat his size? I am to give him a dose every 12 hours for 3 days and see what happens with his bg numbers. Tonight Simon as eaten well, and is fairly alert. He doesn't seem very sleepy although his back legs are a little wobbly. Thanks for any advice.
