Yesterday's (im)patience was rewarded.

3/6 Recap:
AMP 153 +7 159 +9 126
PMPS 123 +3.5 120 +9 70:D

Happy girl with belly up on the bedroom rug when the alarm went off at 4:40 this morning. Then she purred through that +9 test. The real joy started when I broke out a little HC to keep her safe while I was out rowing. One week into the season and the kitties have latched onto those early risings. Imagine their joy when it's even earlier next week after switch to daylight savings!

I rushed home for AMPS, and of course Neko wanted out as soon as I opened the door. But I didn't let her out - no dilly dallying this morning. Shot was later than I wanted and set me back even more for the time switch. We did have a good acupressure on my lap, and I even got a little psoas muscle stretching in. I see a sunny and quiet day in the solarium in her future.

OT rowing report: started off rowing by moonlight, but sunrise started shortly after. I wish I had a camera with me this morning as the moon hung over the cove and it's jewel of lights. An excellent row, almost 10 km and I was in a fast boat. Lots of fish nibbling at the morning bugs, and of course that meant seals popping up too.

Happy Caturday everyone!

Good girl, Neko. Nice to see you rowing in smooth waters, too. Excellent patience discipline, Wendy.

Images of your morning row are so calming. Yet, sort of exciting, too. Seals? Very cool.

Have a great weekend.

Nice start for Neko this morning. How cute on waiting belly up for you to wake up. It sounds like you had a great row.

Sounds like a lovely start to the day, for you. I'm not a morning person, so it sounded miserable to me! :joyful: Except for the beautiful sky and the seals.

Neko, the lagoon is crowded today. Have fun there and stay safe! :D

I would absolutely lift my ban on exercise for a scene like that, how delightful :)

Thanks for your arthritis tips. In regard to the memory foam mattress, how thick is it? As it happens my latex mattress has a memory foam top on one side which I absolutely hate and always keep to the bottom so I'm going to rip it off and fashion something for Vyktor.

A full day of solarium but now Neko's inside in her new bed. I think DH is trying to tempt her with a lap. We both needed horizontal time after this morning.

@ Marilyn, Rhiannon, Carla, Tricia, Peg, Serryn, Suki - Neko's doing a fairly flat type of cycle, my fav. A couple days ago in the cove I saw three river otters. We usually see great blue herons - not today, but we did see a V of flying geese. It's not just about the workout. :) @Vyktors Mum - Neko's mattress is 4 inches thick, but I've seen some memory foam mattresses just 2 inches thick.

Thanks Wendy, I have a whole queen sized bed top to play with so I'll make him the delux version like Neko's. I can probably make him a couple!

Otters are just the cutest :):):)

What a beautiful cycle for Miss Bellyrub Neko! :D:D
I found the perfect camera for you Wendy, I want one too, I am a lifelong Canon user, but this one has me ready to buy- it's portable, good picture quality and hands free: Go-Pro

@Tiger and Ruth - Is it waterproof, against salt water? The fear of dunking is the main reason we don't bring cameras along.

Another fine spring day here. Got my garden shores done (almost - it's actually time to mow ) and went to a gallery that's part of the local Art Crawl this weekend. I'm feeling beat and hoping Neko doesn't do any diving tonight.

@elise, Michelle, Ruth - Thanks for popping in. I love living near the water.

Sounds like a perfect day for Neko and also Neko's mom. What a perfect cycle for Soul Sista!

I can just see in my mind how beautiful it must be when you are rowing. I know you are happy to be back at it.
