Friday's Condo
Luci's number was a little high this morning but she's on her way down now - looking much better at the beach and feeling just fine!
I was off doing errands starting at the farmer's market - the sun was up and people were already pouring in! Typical seasonal stuff - they've gotten the clue that it gets crazy busy later in the morning so gotta get there early!
Unfortunately the first death due to COVID-19 has happened in our area. The patient apparently had returned from an international trip and has passed in a local hospital.
I asked about hand sanitizer this morning at Sam's Club and there's none to be had - no alcohol either...so I bought a bottle of bleach at the dollar store and cleaned out all my recycle bags that I use for my farmer's market and grocery store purchases and gave the place a general wipe down with bleach/soap. All the door handles, light switches, our mice and TV remotes, the coffee pot and all the cabinet pulls...I'll probably be doing that every day now until this virus thing gets wrapped up...once I recover I'll probably go out and wipe down the car - handles, buttons, knobs, switches, steering wheel...I think it's time to make that extra effort to kill as many germs as I can...keep washing those hands!
