Good morning,
Mostly yellow and blue night, flat and good for sleeping. :joyful:
Let’s see what happens today.
Still not great interest in eating from feeder for snacks at +1,2,3 both cycles. (She seems less hungry for the snacks). I’m going to feed a little less at snacks, will try only 1 tbsp at each snack. (She’s fed her same food from her meal at snacks, never a problem before we moved her location a few weeks ago due to repairs in basement where she usually hangs out).
I keep trying to think of different things that may impact her interest to eat. o_O
Safe surfing everyone :cat:

Good morning Staci!

Looks like Ivy's gonna have an active cycle!
Let's go! But safe surfing only, sweet Ivy!

Good idea to try a little less snack.
No problem before the basement issue happened - think it's a place thing?
Hope you find a happy snack solution soon!
Wishing you and Ivy a lovely day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I think it will be active too, Kit :D

I’m not sure what her issue is. I just keep tweaking to see if she changes her catitude ;)

I do think she misses her Ivy suite that she doesn’t have to share with anyone. Silly cat.
Hope you have a great day :bighug::bighug::cat:

Good meowning
What a beautiful start for miss Ivy!
She'll be on the beach in no time. Hopefully she grabs Nestle on her way down.
I have a feeling today she'll get busy.
Have a nice day :cat::bighug:

Good meowning, Karolina. I think Ivy is looking for her bikini meow. Hoping to hang with Nestle today :D
Hope you have a calm day at work with no crazies. You must have great stories to tell

As her numbers improve, she might just be getting less hungry? Which I know isn't great if you're using food to try to feed the curve. I hope you're able to figure something out. :bighug:

I wonder if that’s a thing, better numbers, less appetite?? And yes, trying to feed the curve so that’s the challenge, especially if I’m out and relying on her eating snacks from the feeder!!!! :arghh:

Glad to see Ivys having a good day. I wondered about lower numbers and less appetite too….
Hope you and Ivy have a smooth night and she eats her snacks.

Thanks Deb, me too!! I do wonder about the appetite thing and lower bgs. A newer issue for me. Have a nice night :bighug::bighug:

Hello Staci! I'm glad you could sleep better!
What if you gave her less at her shot time? Would she eat more at +1? Maybe?
Hi Cecile, I actually did try that but it she just didn’t seem hungry for snacks. It’s strange, you would think she’s be hungry for more of her breakfast or dinner. I can try it again to see if something changes.

We are actually in the process of moving her back to her original room this evening. (all painting is completed)
So maybe when she gets back to her comfy place where she’s happiest she will resume her old patterns. At least that’s my hope. :p
Thanks for the great suggestion!

HI Staci, I hope Ivy slides down gently tonight for you! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:Have you ever tried toppers on her foods? (i.e. Pure Bites Dust, dried tuna flakes, Fortaflora, etc?) Or did I already ask you if there is something else mixed into her food, such as supplements that could be adding an unpleasant taste to her foods? I'm reaching for straws here? Cats will be Cats!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hi Ruth, I’ve never tried any toppers. But I’ll have to give that some thought. Good idea. I’ve tried to keep her eating clean (I mean a strict diet of her homemade food and no commercial foods). But maybe if I take the lamb I use to feed her and have some slivered lamb on top it may give a different texture and she may be able to smell it.
I’ll try that to see if that works.
Or, I have dehydrated lamb snacks I could crush and see if she likes that.
Thanks for the suggestions!
I did eliminate one supplement she seemed to not like. It was very stinky. Even I thought it smelled disgusting. (We will have to see what will replace it).
I appreciate your great ideas. And yes, CATS!!
Have a great day, Ruth :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Very nice day, today! Hope the move back to the basement went smoothly.
Hi Marje, lots of blue yesterday.
She seemed a bit confused when we went back to the basement. She kind of looked at me like what are we doing back down here? And when I went to go up to bed, she followed me upstairs and laid down in my room. I think she didn’t want to stay downstairs by herself now that she got spoiled, being in our room again. So I just let her stay of course, and ultimately, I think she spent most of the night in our room.
When I got up this morning, she was at the top of the basement stairs in the kitchen waiting for me. I don’t think she had been there very long because her sensor wasn’t setting off the alarm that she was out of range.
So we’ll see how this works out but she didn’t seem too out of sorts.
We spent the evening with her in the basement so she didn’t feel alone and that’s where we will resume our evening hang out so that we are with her every night. she likes that routine.
Hope she has some good cycles today.
Have a nice Upcoming weekend :bighug::bighug::bighug:
