Happy Caturday! Sending out vines to Skooter, Billie, Deborah's niece kitty Pixie, Crystal, Tricia's crew, Trix, Elise's Mom, and any others in need.

Our little monkey girl has been sweet, purry, and happy this morning. She's played in her boxes (I put new crepe paper in them yesterday ;)),
wrassled with her bubby (Tobes), had FD treats, watched birds from her catio condo, and just had a kitty perfect day so far. Lupita took the funniest video of her yesterday but I couldn't figure out how to get that long of a video from Lupita's droid phone to my iPhone. It wouldn't even let me upload it to my youtube account. odd. But in it, Gracie was walking ahead of Lupita, looking over her shoulder to keep an eye on the "evil one", and got to our bedroom doors which were pushed to but not shut. I swear I have never seen Gracie push open a door. She just sits there and waits until either Tobey or we open it. But in the video, she nudged it open with her little paw and then squeezed herself through the narrow opening. The funniest thing, though, was once she was all the way in, all of a sudden her little brown face came peeking back out to see if Lupita was still there. :p:p:joyful::joyful::joyful:

Finally the bounce is breaking! I hope she will start to settle into this increase and the bouncing will disappear.

I spoke with mom this morning. She is better today and besides the obvious reasons I'm happy for that, it's also because my nephew just earned his Eagle Scout certification and his ceremony and party are today and she really wanted to go. So looks like thumbs up!:)

Lots of outdoor work for me today. My cousin and her daughter are coming Tues through Sat and I've got to work in the yard and get the brown trimmed off plants, vacuum and mop the patios and get the furniture cleaned.

Have a splendid day!

what?! Gracie opened a door?
she musta been desperate!

I love it....

Thanks for your input.
And hope your dm has a successful outing.

I just got an email that my spring flowers order is coming so I need to get out and prepare spots.....

Gracie, honest. We're laughing with you, not at you. Oh, wait a minute. I think I have that turned around!!! Such a serious, yet absolutely hysterical girl, in her relationship with Lupita. Love it. And love your description of the door episode. LOL.

Glad your DM can attend the Eagle Scout ceremony. Impressive ritual for an impressive accomplishment!

Bounce-be-gone, Miss LBG.

I love the video Lupita took. Gracie is so funny and cute. I'm glad she's clearing the bounce. That's good your mom is doing better. Congratulations to your nephew.

The Principessa opened her own door? Where were her minions when she needed them? Heavens! It's so hard to get good help these days. :joyful::joyful::joyful:

I love the description and wish we could see the video. You do a good job of painting the picture, though, Marje.

I'm so glad your DM is doing better and can go to your nephew's ceremony. I'm sure it will mean a lot to him to have her there.

 I love Lupita/Gracie stories. I can just imagine her looking to see if she had escaped the evil one.;)
Congratulations to you nephew on earning his Eagle Scout. I'm glad your DM is feeling well enough to go to the ceremony.
hugs and scritches to you all

Marge, love reading your condos get a big kick out of your Gracie and Tobe stories. Hope your DM is doing better.

Teeheehee go Gracie. I wonder if she's in a particularly good mood because it's a whole week now until she'll have to see the evil one. Having to open the door herself to escape has no doubt meant that she's put another black mark next to Lupita's name in her records!

Gracie is a smarty cat!

Glad your mom is OK and that she can go to your nephew's ceremony.
You sure sound busy. Great fun to see your cousins--even doing the pre-visit cleaning!

Have a good weekend,

Good evening and thanks for the visits today Michelle, Ella, Serryn, Peg, ((Marie)), Tricia, Carla, Marilyn, and Rhiannon.

Yes...the LBG is quite inventive when she needs to be ;) She's also very adorable in her sneakiness. I think you are right, Serryn....just one more reason to dislike Lupita.

Mom said the ceremony was wonderful and my nephew did great (gave a really good speech). Wish I could have been there but I couldn't leave my sweet baby girl. I am very proud of him though. Mike's son, Jason (my very beloved stepson), is also an Eagle Scout although it's been 12 years since he got his.

Dinner time and then I'll be lurking around FDMB :p:p:p

I didn't get a chance to mention it yesterday, but I enjoyed Lupita Friday. It's so strange how they can take such a dislike to one person! My friend Rebecca came in from Seattle last year, and sweet lovey Mikey HATED her. He gave her what she called "The Look" at every turn. Maybe it's in the lines. :)

Max used to open doors. I think Tiffany told him to do it. Once she left us he never did it again. I know he was the one because early on my friend and I were sitting in the hallway talking after saying hello to the cats and Max walked over to the closed door and looked up at the handle. Then right in front of us he told on his hind legs and pushed on the handle. He didn't even jump and got it on the first try. Tiffany used to open the sliders though. I love your Gracie stories. I hope she and Max keep each other company in the lagoon tonight and don't go too deep.:)

That's so funny, Mary...maybe it is a Kinross thing.

Cats are so smart that they learn from each other. I can only imagine your surprise, Elise, when Max did that. Tobey just bulldozes the doors open and Gracie follows.

Well...I think we are in for a pj party....59 @ +4 so she just onset.

Have a great night.
