Happy Friday, LL! Thanks for the visits last night, Marje, Elise, and Tricia :-D . I was so tierd I crashed after that nice +2 that went up and just got up at +6 for a check (thanks Chyna!). I'm still tierd and not feeling well...I'm going to shower and then see if I feel good enough for tbp. Unfortunately my non existant savings bank account can't take sick days! Yesterday: Chyna 3/6

I'm not sure what's up with this yellow! Could be a bounce from a low? She doesn't seem to be feeling as well and I had to spoon feed her some fuds last night, but she ate her autofeeder ones up overnight. Breffis was helped along with forti flora. She's still purring and attentive when I come into a room :-D

I did skip fluids last night as I was too tierd and needed to sleep, I'll give them today. I also tried to reduce pepcid to once in the evening instead of twice (morning/evening) since I added the slippery elm bark to the lunchtime meal (for her licking lips again, and it seemed to help). I'll add the dose of pepcid in the morning back if this continues. I'm wondering if I need to ask for an anti nausea med instead...and a help poop along one, instead of oil.

Well, I'd better go attempt to get ready :o . Have a great TGIF everyone :-D

I think I see a strong blue cast to that amps. Right Chyna? Surf well today little one. Love the purring and attentiveness. Warms the heart. Good luck with the med stuff too. Wish I could help... but haven't had to add those in some time. Hope it all works out ok.

I hope you feel better soon. Nothing worse that not being up to par, and knowing one still has to get into TBP.

I hope that you and Chyna both feel better. Sending vines for a nice gentle slide to low blue, high green and then some surfing :-D
I looked at the ingrediants for the Maxcat and could not believe that the first ones in the Duck are chicken!! I think duck was #3 or 4!!! Crazy!!

Good start this morning, Chyna. I'm glad you got some sleep last night, Rachel. I hope the shower helps. We feel like mad scientists sometimes... :lol: We give ondansetron (originally called zofran) for nausea.

I wonder if she is bouncing off yesterday's green...but it's not a bad bounce, and it looks like she's working her way down. I hope both of you are feeling better by now!

I relate to both your anti - jinx and feeling like I may never feel totally awake again. I hope you and your friend get to feeling better. I wanted to mention...One vet advised that we give 100 ml fluids every other day, then I was told by two others that unless you are giving at 200ml, you are barely keeping up rather than actually fixing anything. Subjective advice, I am sure, but when we bumped up to 200ml, Frank made amazing progress on many levels.

Thanks guys, the day sure flies when you're busy at work! I hope to visit some of you at some point :o , I'm just home on lunch now but gotta run asap...and I'm still not really up to par but needed the money. Good thing I went...chick that takes days off took today off too :roll: .

Hi Liz, the sleep was good and the shower did seem to help. I hear you on the mad scientist :lol: . I'll ask the vet next week about the ondansentron:)

Hi Tina, yes I don't know if I will ever feel awake again, lol. Thanks for the input, but subqs were only started as a preventative measure since Chynas crea was still under where you are supposed to start them on the last bloodwork. We have a vet visit next week for BW and will see if she needs to go up then, I would not want to overhydrate as Tanyas site mentions. She gets lots of water mixed into her fuds too :-D

I'd better go back to TBP, see you all tonight! :razz:

Nice slide for Chyna today. I hope you figure out what meds help her best and when to give them. I hope you're feeling better Rachel.

Much better start tonight. I hope she gives you a flat blue cycle so you can get some rest tonight. TGIF!!!

For the "help poop along" thing, Neko is getting a bit of baby food squash (1/4 tsp) in her main meals for a bit of roughage. Both cats love it straight out of the jar. :roll: And when she needs a bit of extra help, I use Restoralax - Canadian equivalent to Miralax. That brings water into the stool, so make sure to add lots of water to that food. Although with fluids, she'd probably getting lots. Something you can ask the vet about.

Fluids are done, and it looks like a going up/blue night, so bedtime for bean!

Hi Wendy...well sort of flat blue? TGIF for sure! Squash didn't seem to do anything (but constipate?) Chyna and I think she's allergic to pumpkin...I'm so glad you gave me the name of the equivalent to the Miralax to ask for :-D .

Thanks Rebekah, you are so sweet. I have a lot of up and down days too so I know how everyone feels, and they know how I feel too. It's why I appreciate this board so much :razz:
