Yesterday's condo

Well, yesterday I changed Billy's dose from 1 unit to 1.5. His numbers fluctuated a lot more than usually : He went down to 288 at +2 and 227 at +4, and back up at 410 at +9. He still doesn't seem really interested by food. I was supposed to go out this morning and by some new cans, but there is soo much snow. The roads aren't cleared and my car won't get anywhere. It's completely buried. :( It'll have to wait. I hope the Special Kitty cans seem more appealing to him than they were yesterday.

Good morning guys .. I can't get your condo from yesterday to work? Sorry to see Billy up on the red floor .. if you have ketone testing strips, make sure at these numbers you are testing his urine .. Sorry to hear about all the snow, soon spring will be here and we will be done with this mess ... have a good day guys!

I suspect you're still seeing some New Dose Wonkiness or a bit fo a bounce. Billy isn't used to those yellow numbers and it may be causing a bounce. Lantus takes patience!

Haha, I wish it was spring... But apparently it's not for today. I took this picture this morning. I still have no idea how I'll manage to get out of the apartment without a shovel. ohmygod_smile

I still need to get my hands on some ketone strips, too. Any tips on testing?

Holy Crap - look at all that snow!!!!! Its like you are in NY lol.

We didn't get half that much snow.

What kind of special kitty are you feeding. The teeny small 3oz cans right? Not the 5.5oz cans.

I actually gave him a 5.5 oz can... The Turkey & Giblets Dinner one. There's a difference between the little and big ones beside their size? :/
Well, the good news is that he wouldn't eat any of it anyways. He's having the leftovers from his Purina DM can, now. I just hope it finally stops snowing because obviously, I can't get out. The streets around my block all look the same. Having snowshoes would be much more useful than having a car today.

Ugh. I was supposed to test at +8, but I fell asleep and woke up just now. I guess that's what happens with snow days. Now I have to go out and take care of the humongous pile of snow that is now my car. D:
