Things are a pretty low key here this morning. We have a decent appy, although I feel like it is a bit slower and more tentative that it had been for the last day or so. We had our snuggles, and had a bit of a swat fest again (this time civvie Franke swatted at Noah, and then Trixie swatted at Frankie! I don't know where all this swatting is coming from!!), but Trix seems ever-so-slightly "blah" to me today. Not greatly "blah", but it's very subtle - most people probably wouldn't notice, but you know how overly-hyper-sensitive we L&LL mamabeans are. I wonder if Noah's layer of vetty smell caused her some stress?!?
Noah's toe seems to be healing nicely from what I can tell - he's not to keen on having us mess with his feet. We tried to snap a picture of it last night so we could take a better look, but we weren't terribly successful with that, either! We'll try to get a more detailed peek tonight. I changed the technique for his meds and although he's not thrilled, I'm having better luck than we had yesterday morning.
I think we got about 10" of s*** yesterday. So sick of this winter crap. Civvie Petey loves it, because he "chases" the s*** as it slides of the bay window's copper roof - he paces and chatters at it as if it were a bird who was teasing him! But we beans have had enough...Sorry, Petey, but we hope this is it for the year!! it is still very cold today, and the roads are a disaster, but it is supposed to start "warming up" (relative term) over the weekend.
I'm pretty exhausted...still trying to catch up on sleep (and not doing a very good job of it) after sleepless nights from worrying over this, that, and the other...and, of course, I'm still a bit anxious about Trixie's appy and the healing of Noah's toe. Unfortunately, I don't have another day off until Monday, and that's not really a day off because it's a chemo day for my Dad.
Time to get moving....have a great day, L&LL!
