So we just got home from the vet and things aren't worse. Not exactly better, but not worse either. There is less fluid in her lungs so perhaps the Lasix is actually helping. They removed only 20cc's of fluid instead of over a liter like before. The mass seems to have gotten bigger, but only a little. Her Vulva is still swollen and inflamed so they are putting her back on antibiotics for that but she doesn't have a UTI. YAY!!! They are sending out the fluid in her lungs for analysis and we are keeping her as is on the Lasix. Doc is thinking perhaps steroids if the tests on the fluid determines that she has cancer. So still taking things day by day. But thankfully it wasn't all bad news. And the doc has been happily surprised by how well she has done since 2/14 when all of this was first discovered. So thanking God again for letting me keep my baby girl for a little while longer.
