Good Morning, Everyone,
We have a blue AMPS. Good sign! I am hoping to get Rusty back to his normal numbers before I start him on Allerplex (so that I will be able to gauge how it might affect his numbers). My order of Allerplex from Amazon is supposed to arrive on Friday, but the vet also ordered it for me, and her office called this morning to tell me that it had arrived. I'll pick it up tomorrow. In the meantime, Rusty's breathing has sounded good (to my ears, in any event) and he has not had a "hairball-like hack" in a few days. Fingers and paws crossed.
We had a good night, Rusty sleeping between his beans. This morning he had a good test, a good shot, first sitting of breakfast, a schmooze, and now is napping in his little bed by the radiator.
The beans are having lunch with friends at the St. Regis Cafe at Paul Smiths College. The cafe is run totally by the students in the Hotel and Restaurant program: they determine the menu, do all the ordering and all the cooking, wait the tables, do the "books", etc.--in other words, they learn how a restaurant functions in every aspect. After lunch we are going to snowshoe at the VIC (this will not be a strenuous outing  ). Rusty will have his lunch before we leave and his afternoon snack served by his automat.
Wishing you all a good day and sending healing vines to all kitties and beans in need of some.
