Geeze, you'd think it was rocket science. Yet,I still feel defeated. Mr.'s numbers have me pulling my hair out. I see a curve coming on Sunday before the vet appointment on Monday.

Yay!!!! I'm glad you figured out how to link your prior thread! Woohooo! Shellcat score 1....technology score 0!!!

It seems Mr. Moonie may still be bouncing from the green he saw on 3/4. It's also possible that he got some green/blue #s overnight or early this morning which could be causing that high AMPS. A PMPS +2 before going to bed, may help shed some light on the situation. That +2 can also tell you what Mr. Moonie has in store for the evening cycle.
Don't feel defeated It takes time for kitties to get use to lower #s. Their lil bodies get accustomed to the higher #s. When the insulin brings those #s down to a normal range, their bodies panic. They dump stored glucose to bring the #s back up to what they perceive as normal. Kitties usually get use to lower normal #s after some time. The bouncing subsides for most.
You're going above and beyond what most people would do for their furry ones. You're doing a wonderful job...don't forget that!
