Hello, LL! We have had two beautiful cycles of nice blues and greens :-D , paws crossed it continues and anti-jinx! Yesterday: Chyna 3/5

Chyna continues to be happy seeming and purring. We had plenty of poo yesterday, and the other Ps are in place. Her eye still worries me and the right one is watering a bit now too and when I cleaned it it had some light brown I think...but I have an appt at the vet next Wednesday and they squished me in as they already had a full day. My work has decided to cut everyones hours in the AB branches to save $. In our department they decided that we have too many staff in on Wednesday so I now "get off" one every four weeks on rotation with the others in my department, unpaid of course. Like I could afford that...but AB employment laws say it's ok for them to do it. So yeah :evil: . Other departments lost a lot more hours so I guess I should be happy, but that's a lot of money for someone who lives cheque to cheque with a special needs kitty!

Anyways, I finally got my strips in the mail yesterday, phew! Chyna, that is NOT an invitation to dive. Reducies can be earned by what you did yesterday and last night for a week ;-) . It's funny because I have only been getting mail maybe once a week if that since last November, and I put in a complaint on Tuesday as my bills that were due weren't here...funny that my mail showed up the next day :roll: . Last time I complained while I was waiting for diabetic supplies the same thing happened, all my parcels showed up the next day. I know they announced they are phasing out door to door but at least put up a community box thing so I can get my OWN mail if you aren't going to deliver it before they do the change :-| . Sorry for the rant on Chynas condo :lol:

UGH I'd better go get ready for tbp. It's so busy I don't even want to go...hope you all have a good Fursday :-D

Wonderful report here...happy kitty, strips in the mail, nice AMPS! Bummer about work though...both the cut back, and having to get ready to go there. Where's that LL winning lottery ticket??

WOO HOO! A beautiful amps, ahppy kitty, supplies arrives. All is well. So Chyna... you surf well now 'OK? I klvoe all that blue and green! GO CHYNA!, but no diving . ;-)

Bummer on the work stuff, hours etc. Maybe once a month on the day off isn't too bad, but sheshhh, no pay? I wish you luck with it all.

Hvae a great one today. I hope all goes well.

What a nice start for Chyna today. Woohoo! Way to go yesterday. What a day huh? That is strange about the mail. Funny how it always appears after you call. Have a great day Rachel!

Bummer about the trials at tbp. Hope things get sorted out and they are able to give you the hours back later. Seems strange that they need to cut back when you've been so slammed lately. Perhaps they need to unload the people that keep calling in??? :roll: I'll keep you in my prayers that you get that time back soon. Meanwhile, at least it means you have more time to watch over Chyna. :-D

Bummer on the work situation - that would not work with the BC labour laws, but of course it would cost too much to contest so they'd probably get away with it here too. :roll:

Good thing your strips arrived, although a little weird you are getting mail when called. I too am waiting to hear what they plan to do about the mailboxes here. In the mean time, the junk mail, bills, and tax slips are arriving just fine. :roll: :lol:

I'm glad Chyna is feeling happy & purry. I hope her eye clears up soon. That's rough with the work situation. The laws shouldn't allow that. I'm glad your strips arrived.

Hi guys, thanks for the visits! Work was again too busy and I am so tierd I can't even think, and not shocking we were short again on a girl taking the day off and another that is on reduced hours...so I'm not unhappy about the +2 tonight. I think that may be from stupid bean grabbed the wrong 6 carb catsicles made of the leftover beef/salmon fuds that I am questioning her allergies on that I left in her feeder at AM+4 :sad: . I have thrown them now. The rest of the day was her normal fuds. Or she went lower today or last night than I thought, or she's just being a cat! She is scratching tonight and I feel dumb ohmygod_smile

Hi Amy, yes I think I need to find a tGp to talk about instead of a tbp. I am glad for everything else though :-D . I'm searching for that ticket!

Thanks Michelle, I think she surfed well, maybe lower than I thought...yep if I could afford it like some of the staff, I would LOVE the extra day off :? . Or all of them, if I could afford it :lol:

Thanks Tricia, yeah our head office is trying to save $$$ now that they built a whole bunch of new branches it seems. So a good time to cut hours is right as busy season starts :roll: . It'd be nice if the people who didn't need full time and are off half the time would volunteer to do part time (or leave) so those of us who need it could have it :sad:

I think my mail lady picks her days, I've noticed that I never get mail before or after a long weekend, and of course quite often no mail all week. Not that I WANT the bills or junk...but I do need to pay them :? . My mom gets her mail every day no problem...

Hi Carla, thank you, it's been a rough week but I'm so glad the strips are here!

Well, I'm trying to see some of you but I may just hit the hay early and set an alarm to check later evening for BG. I'm so sorry I keep missing so many of you but will hopefully get caught up tomorrow or the weekend :-D

Ahhh, Chyna. A pretty blue evening so your mama bean can relax. You are such a thougthful girl. Surf safely, little one, and cuddle with your mama - it's good for her blood pressure! :-D

Great day today and I wouldn't worry too much about that +2. I'm glad she seems well and I hope the vet can figure out the eye issue.

Bummer on your job. Holy cow! That's a lot of salary to lose. But more time with Chyna :-D
