Well that was a better start this morning, but she's not moving down much today (so far anyway)....going to get a test about +8 but not expecting much

If she had gone down much more, she would have been out looking for lunch by +6 and she's still snoozing on her favorite heating vent

I'm really not sure, but I THINK I saw her with a slight limp this morning and I've noticed in the past week or so, she's really hesitant about jumping down from the couch (she keeps looking for a "step" instead of just jumping down like normal) so I'm beginning to wonder if there's something going on with her that has her in pain and that's what's causing the higher numbers

Vet tomorrow afternoon....Hope there's an easy answer, but if she is limping, going to probably have to add x-rays to the costs on top of the bloodwork, urine and office visit....and that would mean putting off the dental until I can get together some more money :(

We'll take all the vetty vines you have to send!!

Many many vines to China! Hopefully you find out what's causing her pain and it's something easily fixed! PS if she's 15 years old it could be arthritis.

Hope you get answers tomorrow, Chris. Maybe if it is pain from something like arthritis, maybe the dental can wait for a bit longer. :bighug:

Sending lots of good vetty vines for tomorrow. Some arthritis can be detected by feel (larger, swollen joints) so you may not need X-rays. One thing you might want to do before the vet visit is to video her limping or tentative jumping to show the vet. My vet has found it really useful to see kitty in action - since they usually don't perform at the vet's office.
