I love that they don't care about the numbers nearly as much as we beans do. No more stinky pinky, T, OK?

How is DH's car? I still can't get over that....it's so disgusting what people can do...

Long rant - Good morning Amy!! The adjuster finally made it out there yesterday and they are going to start fixing it today. Insurance thinks it should only take a couple of days so we will see. We may be driving back to Ft Worth this Saturday to pick it up. I know. Poor DH. It is his dream car. We have worked so hard for years and he had his jeep for 15 years saving up for this one. We got it for him for Christmas. :( I just hope it is back to normal once they are done. They are 99% sure it was the valet service. Brian had "gotten into it" with one of the valets when he pulled up because he was going to self park. They got pushy with him and broke physical contact trying to take the keys. The police said that the only thing worse than valeting is letting them see what you are driving if you are going to self park.

It's only a little bit stinky isn't it Tarragon, not far to sunny...

You'd think the police would set up a sting since they know what's going on :mad: Are these valets actually employed by the hotel carpark?

That is just so horrible. I don't understand why these thugs are employed - and not in jail. I really hope it is better than new when he gets the car back.

No. The valet service is contracted by the hotel so they are not actual hotel employees. Sounds like it is a racket at all of the Ft Worth hotels. The police said that really all that would happen if the person brags is that he will get fired and go get a crappy job somewhere else. There were no cameras so no proof.

Unbelievable about the car, the valet "service", etc. People should boycott Fort Worth and flood the newspapers with letters and editorials. It does not sound like a civilized place. The hotel ought to be responsible for it's guests' cars. What is going on there is extortion and the police just look the other way. Perhaps file a lawsuit against the hotel? I hope Brian's car gets fixed so that it is as good as new.

Yay for a good appy. I hope Tarragon slides down today. That is ridiculous about the valet service and the police not doing anything about it. I hope the car is good as new once it's fixed.
 
That's the way Tarragon. Let the beans worry about the colors; you just keep on having a worry-free time! What we could learn from our cats.

Unbelievable about the car and valet connection to the damage. Yikes! You'd think the hotel would have some concerns about their reputation. Maybe go to some trip adviser websites and share the experience.
