I am back from my annual women's retreat weekend in the mountains. It was beautiful and relaxing except for the first night when we thought tornadoes were going to be hitting our house. Luckily, they didn't get as far north as we were and we just had lots of rain and lightening. Simon survived being taken care of by DH while I was away. He got a little stressed the first day I was gone and posted a yellow number, but since then, he has been nice blues and greens. This morning AMPS is very nice. DH did not do as well with taking care of Cleo. Cleo has CRF and needs a pill 2x/day for her stomach acid and nausea. She always takes the pill very easily from me but would not cooperate with DH. i think it is because I am left handed and always use that hand to give the pill and squirt water in her mouth. She was confused when she saw everything coming from the other side of her mouth! Needless to say, DH had to clean up some pukus since Cleo didn't get her pills. Poor baby!

Big prayers for Iorwen's Dad and Mom and for all the other beans and kitties needing the healing power of our prayers.

I'm happy to hear you had a wonderful time despite the first night of terrible rains. A women's retreat sounds wonderful. Sorry about Cleo and the pukus, hope your DH survived it all!

Welcome back Georgia! Are you all charged up for another year? Simon looks wonderful. Too bad about Cleo not taking her meds. I bet your right about the handedness, although I don't think it would have occurred to me. I hope she’s back to normal now.

Hi and welcome back! Glad you had fun on your retreat and I'm glad the tornadoes did not hit your homes. Poor cleo :sad: but at least simon is looking good in blue for you! Have a great day guys!

Gee whiz! I'm glad DH came home for lunch today. He is still there and will test and feed for a little bit longer. He has to leave at some point so I told him to give Simon some mc food and then hc if he continues to not rise very much. I guess Mr. Simon is happy to have me home and is giving me a little gift of a dose reduction.

Wow Georgia, congrats on the dose reducie and what a welcome home. so glad the tornado passed over your area, such terrible devastation watching the weather channel. Don't forget to place the little green man in your subject line. :mrgreen: Glad you had a nice time.

Welcome back...and what a homecoming you got - lookit those numbers!

I hope both DH and Cleo are feeling better now that MamaBean is home!
