Shasta's Blood Work 3/1/14

WCR: All Ps in place. I got good snuggles last night, but I got great snuggles this morning. In fact, I'll admit it...we were spooning this morning. Appy is so-so this morning, but again, I'm dealing with her hiding from me this morning. She REALLY doesn't want to be put back in that carrier. :YMSIGH: Already got pee and poop this morning and lots of purrs.

Today is a very gloomy weather day here in Central FL. I feel like I'm in England, instead...very foggy, misty, overcast with a little chill in the air. Oh well...I will be in my Polar Vortex of a classroom all day. It is so cold in my classroom that my students bring blankets and snuggies to my classroom. :roll: :lol: Stay warm to all of you who are actually dealing with the Polar Vortex! Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Nice sunny start for Shasta today. Love love love the snuggles. Our civvie, Turnup, likes to spoon. It makes it so hard to get out of bed. Good appy vines. Stay warm and have a great day Deborah!

Shasta is feeling good tonight and her appy is pretty good, too! I've included a link to her blood work in the original post. Her Potassium is LOW. She is now on a full tablet of Potassium supplement (PotassiTab) per day. I think I already see the positive effects of the Potassium...her appy is much better and she's back to being "regular"! I think she had been storing up the poop and now, she's happy to let it go! :lol: :lol: We had a few little play sessions and now she's napping in my lap. Almost bed time...wishing everyone a nice night!

Great news on the potassium making a difference! Yeah for regular and appy.

I love spooning with kitties. My civie Theo likes to spoon under the covers. Happy snuggling tonight. cat_pet_icon

How nice that you are seeing results from the potassium so soon. It usually seems to take forever to know if a treatment is helping.

Good to hear she is feeling well and eating well, too. Snuggles are so comforting, for both the kitty and the bean. Hope you get lots more of them tonight.
