Remembering Barbara today, a wonderful and caring friend.

Good morning, everyone,

Rusty is starting out in the lagoon. His first green number since arriving in NYC. I think he has a fun day planned for the LL gang.

We, however, have our appointment with our tax man. Always fun! But we're having lunch with old friends and are looking forward to the opera tomorrow evening (Alban Berg's "Wozzeck").

Wishing all a good day and sending healing vines to all kitties and beans who can use some.

Yo Kitties, it's a mild, sunny day in NYC today and I've been wanting to go for a beach walk, so what do you say that we head out to Coney Island, walk on the beach and the boardwalk, and have hot dogs at Nathans Famous? See ya later,

Looks like Rusty has a fun day planned for the kitties. Brings back fond and happy memories of Mags (GA) and how she loved those hot dogs.

Wow, Rusty started the day in the lagoon while in a strange place? Apparently he adapts to change well. Nice job, Rusty. Now, don't turn this into a ploy to keep the beans there with you instead of going to meetings and shows! Surf safely, buddy! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Take out the visit with the Tax guy and it sounds like an absolutely lovely time. :smile: I hope you have a lovely lunch with your friends and wonderful night at the Opera..
Rusty, what a very pretty start to the day. Make sure and hang out in the safe zone so you don't worry momma.

Nice start for Rusty - Neko met him in the lagoon. Your day sounds grand, once you've met with the tax guy it will be done for the year. :-D

I think the kitties might be coming home covered in sand today. Sounds fun!

Yay for the green start for Rusty today. I hope your tax appointment went well and your are done for the year.

The beach and boardwalk sound fun. Count me in.

Hi again,
It looks like AMPS was Rusty's nadir for the day. That's OK. We don't put too much emphasis on his numbers when we're in NYC. He had a nice day with his friends and we survived our meeting with the tax man. It was great seeing our friends at lunch time. We were graduate students together in the 1960s, so go back a long way.

I have been thinking about Barbara all day. She was a remarkable woman.

We all are so lucky to have this community,

At least it was a nice, slow rise for Rusty....a Zener slide in reverse! It sounds like you had a lovely day, tax man aside (although surviving the tax man is a good thing!)

Well, I'm glad you saw some nice numbers today, and I hope that Rusty will slide back down tonight :-D . It's nice you can get out to do some fun things! Other than the tax man :lol: . It's always nice to have those overwith though! Enjoy your evening :razz:
