What to make of yesterday... Mannie was kind of all over the place. Yellow start, dip into the blues, a visit to the pink zone.... It seems he is still somewhat in bounce mode after his dip into the 40's 4 cycles ago and all otiose carbs, which he just isn't used to having. Paws crossed that today he can settle some. Right Mannie? I just love it when you ask him questions like that and he tilts the head with eyes wide open. It's as if to say "what else do you think I've been doing all this time?" Lubs ya big guy - no matter what color you are. cat_pet_icon But aim for the blues and greens OK?

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Thank goodness for the kitty choir, aka m y back-up alarm system, this AM. The bean would still be sleeping instead of writing Mannie's condo. I suppose that I should be calling this The Elsa Choir, as Mannie could are less about rousting the bean, and hasn't made one wake-up call since we lost BJ. No doubt he figures I'll get to it eventually.... breffis that is...and his shot....  The nanners continue the current pattern: 4 half circles with their edges touching. though.... one of the half circles is a little warped. Seems that the nanner king needed to spend extra time with them - they were being hugged and slobbered on most of the afternoon yesterday.  And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder (maybe I really do need to get her one of her own), I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today, for the entire week, so the other DGP's can take vacation. .   No clue yet what we will do today. Swimming pool time for sure. I am also hoping we can get a rain break and maybe head on out to a river today - not too sure yet. I know though that I won't be able to visit condos while he is here - so sorry! I will be thanking of you all. Think Blue, think green kitties!

Hey everybody! I hear Rusty has some great new snow! You guys wanna go and build snow forts and tunnels and stuff? maybe even get in some snowboarding or skiing... and my personal favorite: Tobogganing! I hope everybody still has their helmets - ya know how it is when Tess drives..... FASTTTTTTTTTTTT! See you guys later? ~~ Mannie ~~ pssstttttt.... I'm working on some cimmamum cookies right now - hot and warm and soft for our trip. Sweet! AND!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we gotta get ready for Shanga's OTJ party - woo hoo! I am so excited - we gets to cook for a big party again. All kitties are welcome on the kitchen krew!

Re: 3/5 Mannie AMPS 136, +1 166, +2 183

Hi Michelle, it's nice to see that nice blue this morning for Mannie and hope he gives a nice surf so that you and DGS can have an adventure today. Looks like he's climbing up! So cute with the way Mannie displays his nanners. These silly kitties could have their own comedy show. Elsa, good job with the choir, too. Have a great time today with Nicholas and hope for good weather, too.

Mannie, snowboarding at Rusty's house sounds like a blast. Let's do it and then Shanga's party will be fun. Lots of good fuds, and I will helps out with the kitchen krew. See ya at the curb, Maggie

Mannie...my bean is so late today but my beverage special tonight is Rakitinis!!! Raki is a native Turkish drink so we'll combine them with niptinis!! YES!!!! Can't wait for the party...green is the color of the day!

Re: 3/5 Mannie PMPS 149

Yo Mannie, that sure was fun snowboarding and tobogganing today. Now I'm gettin' my apron and cap, my grillin' stuff so we can head to Turkey for Shanga's party. Theyve got some great grilled foods in Turkey. Maybe we can pick up a few recipes tonight.
Are we ready to fly? How we gonna get there?
Rusty

Hi Michelle, I hope that you and Nicholas had a grand time today on your outing. Did you get to a river? to the pool? Catch up with you later,

Re: 3/5 Mannie PMPS 149

149 @ PMPS. What a nice day for Mannie - blue all day long, and I think he must have been surfing this since early last night. WOW Mannie! well done!

DGS and I had a grand time today - we went swimming in the morning - stayed til about noon. Funny story to share - one of the hardest thing for a first time kid in a pool to be comfortable with is floating on your back. So we worked on that last visit and today. Today we were going back and forth, him on his back, head sting on my shoulder. No fusing, he actually was rather calm with it. I could barely see is face, but did notice that eventually his eyelids were almost closed. He was so relaxed and comfortable doing this that he fell asleep.  no worries, he was completely safe. I could not believe that a kid this young would relax enough in an uncomfortable position that he could sleep - in the water! The boy was born for this....

Thanks Ella, Marje, Linda, Barb, Randa, Celi, Anne, Devon, Ann, and Lisa for visiting Mannie while I cared for DGS - it is much appreciated. Our weather was glassful - so DGS and I went to the pool, and then to a local beach where it was supposed to be sunny by noon, oh HAHA. We had snow instead.  I asked Mannie before we left to surf well, stay a low blue if he could, no diving, and I be damned - that is exactly what he did. GO Mannie! Looks like it will be a good night.
Ann - I can see it now! The LL Comedy Hour!
Lisa, Devon - me too! what a great blue cycle(S)!
Liz - Oh the nanners... what fun. I came home and they were all once again scattered. LOL!
Celi -  as always
Randa - thanks, we did!
Beth - many thanks! it was a fun time.
Linda - so agreed - he gave me my permission slip. :-D
Hi Marje - thanks - it will be a great week - I am so looking forward to it.
Hi Ella - We ended up at the pool - our weather was awful, and very wet. We also went to a local beach - in the hopes that the sun they said would show did. it didn't but he had a good time anyways.

Thanks Maggie for the kitchen help -!!
Gracie - got it! On the menu! It sounds really good - make sure and make lots, OK?
Rusty - it was wasn't it! I know on the Turkish recipes!!! I so want to come home with some! and the mode of travel... MOONBEAM EXPRESS!!
See you guys!! ~~ Mannie
