Good Morning LL!! (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It's Christmas! We have to have peppermint! ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the day was been a good one.We did OK here. Weather has been such a roller coaster here that it was hard to judge what to do when. I did make it out for a while, spent the rest of the day working on household chores, a few errands, a little shopping. The kitties will be glad that their cupboard now has ample fuds cans. Here's what I wrote about the day yesterday: "Good Morning everyone! I hope your days is going well. The monsoon came and went for a bit, the fogs moved in and out, the blue sky thing showed for maybe 10 minutes, and now we are back to the rains.... Welcome to the PNW. :lol: :lol: When the rains stopped I headed on out for a short walk to the woods, and just to see what shape my soggy yard was in. Yahoo! I found spring flowers!! SWEET. Crocus and daffodils and camellias and forsythia, and heather, and a purple thing whose name escapes me. Yippee! Doing the happy dance now. The walk in the woods was really nice too, A bit foggy. But that is OK, I really enjoy those foggy walks there. Fog can so change the mundane and ordinary into something really pretty. So it was today. Of course I took pics, and will post them tomorrow. Enjoy your afternoon everyone." and this from later in the evening: "Happy hump day evening! I am sitting here watching the fog roll in once again. Whoa... it is so thick that one cannot see across the street. :shock: At least it is not raining. anymore. ;-) The afternoon here has been an OK one, got some errands done, and worked some more on photo files backup. WOO HOO!, almost done! I am taken back tonight by how good Lola has been today. Not one mischievous moment! :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: What is up with that? The calm before the storm? Elsa is sitting on my lap right now, trying to take a bath. Such a good girl she is. Bug is... I dunno! Guess I had better see what he is up too. :lol: "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... there was not one thing amiss. or torn, or ripped, or knocked over, or out of whack. WEIRD!, but I'll take it. Lola and Bug has been running wild since I got home, but that is so normal anymore that I expect it when I walk in the door. They are all happy healthy furry purry kitties. Way to go furkids! I was watching them at their dinner last night and was amazed at how Lola and Bug will power through their dinner, and once done go and sit a few feet from Elsa, who is such a slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww eater! They sit there, don't move a muscle, and wait for her to finish. Pure torture! Elsa just takes her time - I think she does it on purpose. :lol: :lol: :lol: If they try and approach she whacks them. :lol: :lol: :lol: They sit back down and wit it out. Once she is done it is a battle to see who will get to her bowl first: Lola or Bug. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for some possible sunny weather in the afternoon, maybe we will get lucky and see that yellow thing in the sky. HOPE SO! A trip to the park with the beach would be prefect for the afternoon. I will try and get to condos when I can....

Good morning, Michelle,
Your tribute to Barbara was so very touching. I was so sad to hear that she has passed. She told me that she had an upcoming surgery, but did not elaborate. We are all the richer for having known her and we will miss her tremendously.

Haha, the way you described Elsa taking her time eating reminds me of being kids, and always saving a piece of candy till everyone elses was gone .. then getting to enjoy it in front of them :lol: Such sad news for sure, on the passing of Barbara .. what you wrote was very sweet ..

Hi everyone - I hope your day has been a good one. We did very well here. What an odd day her weather wise. I just poured in the morning, the commute to get the boys was just awful, rained really hard the whole time we were at the pool too. Funny thing was it all stopped about noon, the sun came out, temps hit 55, so we had to take advantage of that window and hit the pool trail. No sooner had we gotten back to the car when the rains started up again. Crazy weather. but I am glad for the break. Pool was great today. He just went all out, had the best of times. We must have done everything there was to do and then some. He just loves the big pool. I so hope that will be available in the summer, last summer they cut it out from the fmaily time. well, a few months to worry about that. We did alot of get the toys from the bottom of the pool today - his new fav game. alot of fun today. With the nice weather he was more than willing to hit the trails, so was little bro. It is so fun to take them both out there together. Both got down and dirty - loved it all. after that, home for well deserved naps. It really was such a nice day. I will post the link to the Picassa photos in tomorrow's condo.

Thanks Ella, Carla, and Devon for the visits. Please forgive the short reply - I am so tired, is has been a bust day with the boys, and I am emotionally drained from Barbara's passing. She was a dear friend. Thank oyu all on the tribute. I was so at a loss for words when I wrote that... Just let it flow. I hope I did her justice, We are all richer for having known her. -- Yupp on Elsa - love it when she does that - takes her time, lets the others wait. Smart girl! Thank you all on today too. We had a very good time.
