Good morning and Happy Caturday. Choco's amps was a little lower than it has been but I will be home to watch him. It's raining and a bit more on the cool side than I'd like so I'm going back to bed. Talk to everyone later.

I'm not sure what Choco is trying to do today but at least I am home to watch him. I was wondering if anybody knows if SAMS sells Fancy Feast. I am going through a 24 pack in four days because I am feeding Choco, my 16 yr old girl and a foster that is in the same room where Choco stays during the day and eats. That's quite a bit of money to be spending so I was hoping that maybe SAMS had a better deal. Maybe I'll just have to start feeding the other two 9 lives or Friskies. Any suggestions? confused_cat

Just to break it down a little in case anybody is wondering why I'm going through so much so fast.

A.M.
Choco=1 can FF in morning and I leave 1 can out for the day.
Piggie=1/2 can in morning (she's out in the main house and eats kibble during the day)
Mo Mo=1/2 can in morning and I leave 1 can for him during the day.
Total= 4 cans

P.M.
Choco=1 can for dinner (he usually leaves enough for his snack at +4)
Piggie=1/2 can for dinner(grazes kibble when Choco IS in his room)
Mo Mo=1/2 can for dinner(grazes kibble when Choco is NOT in his room)
Total=2 cans

not sure about Sam's, but I know costco does, so probably! not sure if they were classics, though? you may want to consider online options as well for future purchases.

Good morning guys .. looks like choco has some plans for today and you are coming along for the ride ... looking really good choco! Our local sams does carry FF but it was never in the flavors that was low enough in carbs for mocha .. Have a great day guys!

I wonder if SAMS will let me just run in and see if they have it without going through the hassle of getting a one day pass. I used to be with BJ's but they just shut down the one by my house. :O( So far Walmart is the cheapest with the cans being .47 or .48 cents per can. The box of 24 I believe is $11.84 which is about $2.00 cheaper then Petsmart. Christie, you mentioned online, do you know who might sell it?

Why not call them before going over?

You might want to compare prices with PetFood Direct. If you put an order on automatic ship, there's a standing 15% discount. They also run frequent sales.

Calling is a great idea Sienne and I may do that but I just get so frustrated having to go through the whole automated thing, and then hold for somebody who may or may not want to help me. I actually only have a few cans of ff left so unfortunately, I'm going to have to get out in this rain. :cry: Waaaaaahhhhh

I will definitely check out pet food direct. That may definitely be a more convenient option. Thanks!

check out petcarerx too... tho I seem to remember I wasn't thrilled with their FF prices. also consider linking through a cashback site like ebates, mrrebates, etc. they'll have a list of current coupons and you get a little back... every bit helps!

I feel your pain, I'm constantly looking for an alternative to FF that won't break the bank but I keep going back to it. My cats won't touch Wellness, and only two of them will eat EVO (which are more expensive foods, but they come in bigger cans so it works out better). I go through about 10 cans of FF per day, with 4 cats and one of them being an acro (big appetite).

Nice numbers! Ummm, what I said yesterday about adding a drop to his dose? Maybe just forget I ever said that. ;-)

Christie you are right about every little bit help!! I wonder if Fancy Feast will send out coupons if I call them??? I use Purina One Smartblend for my other kitties and I know if you call Purina they will send you two coupons a month for $2.00 each. I actually got a bunch of $2.00 off coupons that were on the cans of FF so I'm good to go for a month or so.

Libby, 10 cans a day?? Phewwww, that is a lot so we need to find out how we can go about getting this food for just a little bit cheaper to help out our wallets. I think I am going to start with calling the company and seeing if they have anything to offer. I will let you all know.

Both Costco and PetFoodDirect have good prices. I use the autoshipping from PetFoodDirect for the flavors I can't buy in Costco.

I just looked at the FF can and saw that Purina makes FF so at least now I know I can call and get a couple $2.00 coupons each month.

My 2 cats eat 4 cans a day total--plus purebites dried chicken and real chicken!!
And they eat Fancy Feast! Keep up the great work with Choco!!

So much for the nice numbers. angry(2)_cat angry(2)_cat angry(2)_cat I think I am really losing my mind. I could have sworn I picked up the bowl of kibble before I let him out of his room. Well, that obviously didn't happen because when I walked into the living room, Choco new he was doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing. Uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh, I swear, I swear, I swear. I have no clue how much he ate either. I guess we'll see here shortly. cat(2)_steam

I understand the frustration of them eating kibble. :evil: :evil: but he is doing great! so I hope it doesn't affect him very much.

Hmmmmm, I wasn't expecting a pmps of 87. Is it possible that I got to him just before he was able to put one little kibble in his mouth?? This should make for an interesting night. I did make it to SAMS and they do sell the Classic in boxes of 36 for $16.92 which is .47 cents a can which is how much a single can at Walmart is sold for.

Looks like he must have gotten a hold of a kibble or two. Oh well, not too bad. It's raining and I'm about to go and snuggle with the kitties. Have a great night everyone. :razz:
