3/4 Trixie AMBG 88

Yesterday

Fairly happy appy, snuggly, spunky, feisty, and anti-jinxes. Her appy is pretty good - probably about mid-range happy and "adequate" - but I'm being a bit of a bugger and want to see more calories going in right now, so I am supplementing with just a little bit of assist-feeding. She was WAY too feisty with her AB gelcap this morning...had to repack it 3 times. Even though there isn't a hardcore deadline for the AB like there is with insulin, these days I get really rattled when I can't get it to go down easily. Fortunately it doesn't happen often, but when it does, it just unnerves me....I'm just way too edgy anymore (trying to work on that).

I am liking that AMBG, and her PMBG last night was 80 - the nicest number we've seen in a while. It will be interesting to see if this trend sticks, although I'm not holding my breath....she does do what SHE wants to do. We shall see.

I'm hoping to get a fair amount done around the house today....staying in motion does help keep my nerves down.

In the past when I've had to give meds or fluids in the morning I definitely found it set a tone for the rest of the day depending on how successful(or unsuccessful) it was!

I hope Trixie's appy picks up. It's good she's feeling well enough to be feisty, but sorry she fought you on her meds. Sending prayers.

Maybe the lower number is making her feel a little too good so she's being extra feisty... fingers crossed that her appy will pick up and that the meds will go down more easily tomorrow.
