Once again he took a reduction that was barely earned - an 85 on a bounce breaking cycle. 5 points higher, a different strip, testing 5 min later, an allowable meter variance - change any of these and he may read 91 and not gotten a decrease. His numbers are high and flat, and I don't like seeing red anymore! History of DKA as well makes me want to increase as soon as possible. Would that be 3 days (6 cycles)? I feel like I have enough data at this point but he is also a wild card . . . and a bouncer.
 
also, his nadirs on the 7 cycles of 0.50 werent so great either. 241 was lowest he got if you don't count the cycle right after reduction (and even that was only 237 after a bounce)
 
I would give at least six cycles to make sure the bounce is cleared, though I see you increased tonight after 4. Without mid cycle data some cycles, you do want to be cautious you aren’t missing bounce breaking cycles.
