3/4 Sonny 96 AMPS +1 104 124 PMPS +1 148

Transitioning some cats to wet food can be an uphill task. It's a big battle won if he likes wet food.

Good luck on the new dose :-)

He *loves* his crunchy dry food, which never made sense to me since the wet is more like a treat. He only ever picked at the wet previously, preferring the dry and mostly eating the wet part / “gravy” then going back to the bikkies. Now though he seems hooked which is excellent!

Husband worries we’re feeding him “too much” wet food but once I showed him the feeding guidelines he seemed much more on board. Sonny has lost two pounds over the last year, used to be 15.5# and now is closer to 13#. I’d have to ask the vet what his “ideal” weight is, but I suspect we’re closing in on it.

This page on Dr. Lisa Pierson's website deals with weight issues and how much to feed etc
