What to say about yesterday.... yellow :? ! and then that delayed horrific bounce to the almost black zone :o ! and then the dive back to the yellow :shock: ! Mannie - dude! Where have you been hiding that trampoline and those bungee cords... I hope today will be a more even cycle, with a few less dramatics. :cool: Lubs ya big guy, but wow! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. Yested ay was round 4528493 of de-mat the cat day. :shock: :o I was elated :razz: , Mannie was not. :twisted: I worked diligently and gently on his fur last week got them all cleaned up and removed. Night before last they were back - it was like a mat convention on his rear end, and they were all gearing up for WWIII. So we went at it, comb and brush and zoom zoom and conditioning wipes. WOW and was he ever mad. We had growls and hisses and hollers and claws and bites and glowing eyes and laid back ears and scratches and eventually a mat free cat, who was rewarded for his patience with these really nice conditioning wipes. :lol: :lol: That part he really liked. Final tally?: Bean 14, Mannie 3895, mats 0 . what an ordeal..... :shock: AND!: great test, shoot and clean plate club - AND auto feeder which Elsa still thinks has her name on it. Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! Not too sure what is up today. The weather should be good - so I hope to be out in it. Next week I have DGS all week (YAY!) so am hoping to make sure today that all is as caught up as it can be before the week stats, I wonder if that is even possible... :? :cool: :lol:

Hey everybody! I so need a chillaxin' day! My bean! She combed me! OW!! cat(2)_steam why does she hafta use those combs and brushes and stuff - my fur is just fine, thank you very much, OW! I like my mats just where they are. I am so mad..... oh well - she tried not to pull but ya know... OW! Maybe we an find a pool somewhere and I can mellow out. Grillin' would be good too! nice yellow start for Mannie the mat free man of the day :cool: :cool: if Mannie is anything like my Kitkit she is 14 this year she never used to mat much but since she has gotten older seems like the mat convention as you put it ( love that) is always going on :roll:

Hi Lisa - yep - think he is - the mats are endless now. what a royal pain! It's always so difficult to comb him where they at the most - his rear end and hind legs, due alot to the nature of this corkscrew snub of a tail-less thing he has. add in the long hair and.... :shock: :shock:

Hi Linda - and yes (!!) on the flats.... I read him your post - and I think I see a nod now. that is an affirmative on the breezes in the fur. :-D

Michelle you are up for the dematting award of LL as of this moment, and with all you've done, looks like a shoo in!!

Hope you see better numbers tomorrow..I remember that night that you were up & those great green numbers, just a day or 2 ago..Once Mannie stops bouncing, zI just know he'll be right back there.

286 @ PMPS. seems that Mannie is back to his spike at +10 pattern. I am just glad that he is back to the yellows,a dn paws crossed that he stays there, or.... blue! or...... green! :-D

Hi Roni- right you are, and I am sure he will... I remember that night. :shock: LOL on the dematting award. :lol: I did pay my dues on that one. And now found two more tonight. :roll:

It's as if he hides them in plain sight! Mannie, your mamabean is only trying to make you more comfortable. Let her comb out those mats without fuss, OK? Back in yellow and maybe some blue in store for tonight?

Hi Michelle, Did you get out to hike today? We did nothing: sat around and chillaxed with Rusty. The falling snow was beautiful today. And tonight is is COLD, so maybe the snow won't rot out the way it did the other day.

You and Nicholas are getting ready for a whole week of adventures. Are you pouring over your maps, deciding where you will go and whether or not the weather will be a factor? March is unpredictable everywhere, I think.

So enjoy the evening--mat-free for Mannie. Right??

Hi Michelle. I know we all want green, or light blue, but that's not a bad number for a ps. It could be an unmentionable color.

I hear your pain, on the de-matting. My Clancy just got his butt shaved recently. I cannot keep his long pantaloons free of the horrid mats.
I tried to get my favorite dog groomer to do him, but she said she would shave too, so I did it myself.
Ohhhh, the claws...shoulda done them first. He rolls on his back and grabs my hands with all four of his. Ow ow ow :!:

Hi Ella - so so agreed on those darn mats! He used to love brushing, but since FD Dx not so much, He seems super sensitive to any pulling. well we keep pluggin away.... and yes, I did get out today - just the local stuff, but it was nice. I am sure your snow was gorgeous 0 sometimes I wish we'd get winters like that... they are so pretty! and yupp on Nicholas - a whole week. Swimming and the pool will be most mornings, well maybe three, and the rest will be weather determined. We are supposed to have sun for a few days, so yupp: plotting it all out. :lol: :lol: and yes - mat free for Mannie - I did find two more tonight but we will give him a break.

Hii barb - you are so right! It is an OK pmps number - and no complaints here! yeah, I know what you mean about those unmentionable numbers... I remember when with Mannie too! I have had Mannie shaved a couple of times too - on his rear end . What a big help that was! I give you credit for doing Checks - I can't even imagine going there with Mannie. :shock: :o I can so visualixze the rolling on the back, and the "all fours"! OWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
