I've downloaded the "Game for Cat". Its a flat out riot. Best $1.99 I've ever spent.
Midgie (our civvie) does what the husband calls "Cobra Death Strikes" on the mouse in that one. She rears up on her hind legs and pounces. I about fall off the sofa every time. :lol:



She barely weighs anything so I don't worry about her hurting the iPad. There's no way I'd let Ruby do that. She's probably shatter the screen.
 
I thought my cats have everything, every toy anyway.
I had never seen an app for an iPad, before, so I looked at your link.
Now, my cats want an iPad :YMSIGH:
 
I borrowed an iPad from work when I went on vacation in October. I just keep forgetting to take it back and they haven't asked for it.
I'll just have to figure out how to delete the app from it before I turn it in. :smile:

Personally, I don't think I have a "need" for an iPad (yet), but this month is "Kitty Birthday Month" in our house...maybe all 6 would be willing to share if I got it for them as a collective gift???? They already have everything else...
 
There is also Fun and Games for Cats (free) that Marje found. Quite a number of LL kitties have become addicted. Tess thinks when the mouse runs off the side of the screen it goes under the iPad and she hunts for it there! :lol: :lol:
 
Oh I would love love a Ipad but with me still not working there is simply no excuse for me to get one since I have the lap top but there are just so cool :cool: :cool: I do not even have a cool phone maybe one day :roll:
 
I'm going to have to charge up the ipad now. Hefner may smash the screen though - we'll see. I have the tab pinned so I don't forget the link in bookmark neverland.
 
No iPad here either but those apps look neat :smile: The local library has iPads and ebooks available for borrowing but you can only read books on them. Somehow I don't think the apps would hold Leroy's attention for more than a few seconds :razz:
 
Leo does the same thing Tess does, looks for the mousie under the iPad. I have yet to see him actually pounce at the Fun and Games app but he certainly is interested in the mouse. I'll have to download the other apps you posted Amy, wouldn't it be awesome if he was a musician and played the piano?? :lol:
 
The new apps have been a HUGE hit with Pinkerton. He does get a bit carried away and kicks and bites the I Pad, and he looks underneath for the fish. Thanks for posting the link to this article!

An online web cam of fish, birds, etc might hold the same appeal as an iPad app :smile: A computer screensaver, too. Emma is fascinated with the bubbles screensaver on my computer :smile: She mostly just watches but occasionally will paw at the monitor (memo to me: keep claws trimmed and get a monitor screen :shock: ). I haven't found a good nature web cam for her to watch. The only things out there that I have seen are only available in tiny viewers, not full screen. Music videos, etc don't seem to hold the same appeal for her :roll:

Leroy on the other hand doesn't know what to look at in a music or other video :lol: His head is just going left and right trying to follow everything at the same time :lol: Then he loses interest :razz: My ADD cat :lol:
 
OMG Victoria is loving the games for cats mouse app! I have a short video of her I have to edit and upload. There is a conference call going on in the background that I have to mute LOL. I love it!!!!
 
My cats couldn't care less about the IPad apps. We got them a while back and tried many times.

The aquarium channel on TV as well as Nascar races, well, that's interesting. Sunrise paws at the TV and sometimes looks behind it to see where they've gone.
