What is the most wiggle room we have with giving the shot? I always was told 15 minutes early/late, but I might have to be a little later than that, about a half hour, and I'm concerned about what that will do.

Half an hour is fine. You can move the time 15 mn for each cycle, or 30 mn once a day.
An early shot acts like a dose increase whereas a late shot acts like a dose reduction. You have about 30 min of wiggle room before. you have to worry about the shot time.
