oh should I have tested her at 12 which is another hour since the last test? then again an hour from then, Oh by the way I am in the USA also, New hampshire
 
I think you could go ahead and call it a night

She's "surfing" in nice safe blue numbers and even came up a little since the last test....I'd just leave her some food down (her regular low carb food) and call it a night

Tomorrow's another day!

I am going to test her one more time at 1 am,
she weighs about 7.4 lbs, think she lost weight the last couple times we took her to the vet which was only a week or 2 apart
I feed her about 2 - 2 1/2 cans of Fancy feast a day, broken up into about 4 times a day
 
you might want to start weighing her...a lot of us have baby scales like this so we can monitor our cats weight once a week.

It's not as exact but you can also use a regular bathroom scale...weigh yourself, pick her up and do the math

if she needs to gain, you can feed her more....when she gets to a good weight, you start to reduce the amount she's getting....if she starts to lose weight, you go back up again
 
yeah that is how I have been weighing her by holding her on my scale, vet said 1-2 cans of 5.5 ounces of the DM, so I have been feeding her the fancy feast to equal close to that amount, but thinking more, she always seems hungry..
 
Try mixing some water into her food to make a "gravy".....the extra water is not only good for her kidneys, but may help "fill her up" too
 
I really think you'd be fine to give him a last snack for the night and get some rest

With the 20% variance that's allowed on all meters, he's pretty much stayed in the same basic place all night long
 
ok, I will get up early tomorrow and check her, before her 7 am time and do what u said, below 150 hold off don't feed, check again in 30 min etc

I left a message with the vet, asking her to call me
 
thanks for all your help, I will post on her tomorrow with an updated thread of her BG, and I will check it throughout the day like u said
