Doodles 3/3 Doodles slept most of yesterday with a little bit of bird watching. He did go outside on the back patio for a few minutes, rolled around getting some fresh air but being an indoor only kitty, he prefers to be inside.

Hope all the kitties surf safely and are feeling good today.
 
Hey Karen, Nice start for Doodles. I am glad to see no more coughing spells. Do you think the hydrocodone helped? I forget why you don't like to give it to him. Here's hoping you have an uneventful day with Doodles and that he surfs in nicely today. :bighug:
 
Bird watching and a brief visit outside sounds nice. :cat:

Resting seems to help. The hydrocodone is not a preventative drug and does not help him breath any better. When he has the coughing spell, it is painful and damages his lungs. I gave him the hydrocodone to avoid another coughing spell that night and to let him rest. It tells his brain "don't cough" but again doesn't help him breath.
 
Sounds like the Doodles had a relaxing day. I'm glad the hydrocodone helped to stop him coughing.

Nicer low-yellow start for the Doodlebug. I hope he feels 100% soon!

(I can't wait until it gets a bit warmer here so I can let the cats have some sun. They used to be indoor/outside, but I now live on a busier road and I don't know if I want them out unattended.)
