Getting to the tail end of this pen so thinking its losing some of its punch. Autumn certainly wasn't acting high this morning so hers most likely has some bounce in it as well.

Cassanova may or may not (yeah who am I kidding) been in on the late night cupboard raid. Casualties...half a loaf of bread, 6 hot dog buns, one box of minute rice, half a bag of mini marshmallows and 4 packets of fortiflora. Now granted Cass was nowhere near the kitchen carnage and it was Patches the Paw caught jumping out of said cupboard this morning but....

What? Half a loaf of bread, hot dog buns? And someone actually ate uncooked minute rice? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I could not stop laughing at that this morning. Wonder who opened the cupboard door?
OMG so, so funny. I would love to see a video of all that going on.

The Minute Rice wasn't eaten that I could tell but the box was shredded and the kitchen floor looked like the aftermath of a large wedding. And of course they couldn't eat a whole bun or slice of bread. Oh No! That would be too easy...nope just take a bite out of each one and move on.

Pretty sure Patches opened the cupboard as he's famous for it, so famous all the bottom cupboards have baby locks. Guess I now need to install them on the upper cupboards. Sigh

I am tempted to send you a webcam that you can hook up in the kitchen to tape these raids. Sounds like a blood bath...or at least a carb bath.

I've threatened webcams but not sure I really want to know all the things they're up to while we're away or sleeping. Lol

Patches is the worst. He's a polydactyl and knows how to use those thumbs. Which is how he earned the nickname...The Paw. He thoroughly believes:

Anything not nailed down is a cat toy,
Anything I can pry up is not nailed down!

Oh my gosh that is too funny. When I saw the numbers I was thinking that somebody got into the toaster's crumb tray but this was so much more. My Bing will open the drawer with the Fortiflora but grab the syringe bag and spread them all over the floor and suck on a FF pouch. All my bread is in the fridge. It's almost like you have to child proof your kitchen :lol:

That is one side effect of having a sugar cat in my house..no more leaving food or dishes out on the countertops.

Yep, that's Henry. His latest trick is opening the cupboard above my stove lately (jumps up onto the hood of the stove to get to it). He discovered some cookies up there a couple of weeks ago and keeps revisiting the scene of his crime to see if I'm stupid enough to fall for it twice. ohmygod_smile

Yep I never worry when the grandbabies are here because the cats have already baby proofed the house. All cords are run through pvc pipe, lower cupboards baby locked. Thought the top shelf was safe since I have to use a step stool to reach it. Thought wrong. Lol. So this week going back through the house and recat proofing. Between a kitten, a sugarcat that jumps and a hemmingway, what was once safe is no longer.

And yes having sugarcats makes you much more anal about house keeping.

So I am envisioning one cat standing on the counter with polydactyl cat standing on his shoulders to reach the high-up-there cupboard :lol:

Hemmingway=polydactyl. He has extra toes.
