Darn it all! I'm holding her and just had the syringe up to her fur - pulled up a batch of skin so I could see - aimed and shot - there it is sitting in her fur - never got it into her skin - I could see the big droplet sitting there - picked it off and smelled it - odd smell - certainly was the Lantus - so that I'm 99% sure I missed completely - she was wiggling around a bit - wanted to eat!
So I fed her - now what? I'm pretty certain she didn't get any insulin at all - but I remember everyone saying here - NO second tries. So do we really have to wait 12 hours before trying any at all? Would a tiny amount hurt her? Her numbers have been so terrible - I just don't know how I did that - just had my finger on the plunger and it seemed to go off before I got it into her skin - I was looking at the spot to put it - wanted to be sure and missed completely!!! I'm so aggravated with me at this moment for missing

Advice? Wait?
