well rats - a pink and yellow day yesterday... a little bounce from the greens of the prior days. Or.... his internal parts just decided they wanted a day off. He's been on this dose close to 3 weeks - maybe I need to shake things up a bit. What'd'ya think Mannie? aiyee - the pink continues this morning.... **sigh**

I had a couple of people wondering if I could do some video of Mannie... so I thought sure - let's try, and start with his happy prancy feed me dance. :-D :-D :cool: oh sure.... got the camera, got the lights set up, got the cat, got the food within tempting range, and the dance? no way - he looked at me with that "you kidding, right?" look. so.... we try again later. what a guy. All is well in MannieLand his morning - breffis consumed with gusto, but without the happy prancy dance. :roll: clean plate club status maintained, not a drop of juice or morsel of food left. Nanners are being hugged as we speak - must have been the trauma of the potential movie taking that required some nanner hugs. :lol: :lol: Napping is sure to follow.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Mannie got a touch of stage fright when you were all set to video him, eh? So typical, right? Our kitties are so private...they don't like us sharing too much...LOL!
maybe Mannie and Shadow can bring themselves down again to nice floors. Not sure what is doing on with our boys...but they seem to be in cahoots! Quit messing with our minds now boys...come on down!!!

Hi Michelle & Mannie,
I was all set to snap a really neat pic of Rusty the other day, and just as I was about to push the button, he got up and jumped down from the table!! That's the way it is: no pics unless the subject agrees!!!
I hear you on the high numbers and have new empathy!! Rusty has spoiled me with his even keel (I'd forgotten what it is like to have unpredictable numbers!)
Perhaps your weather will settle down and spring will arrive. We just got a weak ray of sunshine, but the big storm isn't supposed to get here until this evening.

Hi Pat - I know... he does so many things I'd like to post in pics, etc... but it never fails: out comes the camera and all cuteness stops. **sigh**. I may have to get sneaky... like one of those duck blinds that hunters use. :lol: :lol: -- and yes! what is so great about the pink floor. at least he went down one for his +2.

Lovely report as always! If Willie catches my gaze as he's playing, esp. if I'm taking his picture, he comes and sits in front of me and does absolutely nothing. Gotta love these kids!!

Okay, I seriously need to find an illustrator. I honestly think we could turn our cats' adventures into an amazing childrens' book series. I think I could actually write childrens' books pretty well... I just can't draw to save my life!!

Hey Christie - wouldn't that be something! You do write well, creative mind. There you go - a side venture for you. I can't draw either - I used to dabble in that kinda stuff - but I am not very good. Roni I hear does art stuff. hmmmmm.... and Pat of Pat and Shadow also writes well. Way back when she did the full moon parties she used to give the most entertaining summations of all our kitties were up too. We all told her then that she would write children's books. what fun it would be to have something in writing - all those adventures!

my husband is giving me a hard time because i'm laughing reading today's Mannie adventures. I had to tell him about Mannie's nanner bed and pillow, then about the morning Mannie Fuds Dance. Mannie has character! :lol:

i guess i can get pictures of punkin cuz he just sits and stares. there are no antics to try to get. anya, on the other hand, is a hoot. can't get any pictures or videos of her doing it, though, she also stops if a camera comes out.

Hi Julie. Thanks - I do enjoy him. He is such a laid back kitty - but then he does things like this that are just too fun. what is it with these kitties that stop when they see a camera. :roll: Sometime today somebody messed up the nanner bed - I am waiting to see if he fixes it, or just goes with the flow. it's a 50/50 thing...
(ETA, 9PM: he did go back: n anners ahve been restacked: one big pillow. too freaking funny!)

Hi Christie - I am glad that it is not a dive. He has such a reputation, and by all counts we haven't had one of "those dives" in a while. anti-jinx, and paws crossed! these things are, for the most part, becoming flatter. :lol: :lol: on the fuds dance. I will keep trying,. one of these days he will cave to the power of fuds!

ETA: For Julie - he did do it... went to the front room, and low and behold - all the nanners were piled on top of one another, one big pillow. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
