Just got an update from the vet. Leroy is groggy at the moment. He'll be able to go home later with clindamycin. He may need some gaba or bupe as needed for the pain. The bandage and splint are bigger than the previous surgery but he should be able to get around more or less ok with his arthritis. Skipping insulin tonight since it'll be past his normal time.

Waiting for someone to put Leroy into his carrier. I'm supposed to restrict Leroy's movements but that's not happening because it's Leroy Looks like just one bandage change next week.

He managed to get on the sofa. Getting off is another story Thunk and hiss

He ate some canned food and the clindamycin. Forgot the budesonide but he'll be ok. Cone is off so he can eat from the feeder later... after he tumbles off the sofa I could stick him in the bathroom with the door closed but he hates confinement and screams nonstop and scratches whatever he can.

Awwww sweet boy. I hope he sleeps well and stays safe. It’s so hard to contain them.
