Yesterday at Tricia's House of Chaos
I was pretty nervous, coming downstairs this morning, about what I would find where Harvey is concerned. Of course, I knew if there was a huge issue, DH would have awakened me before he left for work. I was relieved to see that Harvey had eaten all of his first breakfast, except for the usual little bit at the back of the dish that's so hard to get to. Cinco had also eaten all of his. I didn't seen any signs of more vomit anywhere, thank goodness. Before I went to bed, Harvey had eaten all but a couple of teaspoons of a jar of baby food (I gave the rest to Cinco). The Ondansetron did seem to take effect in about 20 minutes - I knew the injections were faster than the pills, which usually take closer to an hour. I was concerned about giving the shot, as I recalled when I gave it to Minka that way, should would always cry out in pain. Harvey didn't do that, to my relief.
When Mark tested Harvey this morning, he got a 414, which was a shock. Remembering my instructions (good boy!) he retested and got the 399. No idea why he was so high.
Harvey is still working on his second breakfast, about half gone. Cinco required the addition of some Forti Flora. His appy seems to have tapered off a little. His breathing still sound pretty good, though and he's looking comfortable on the sofa. I am really anxious to hear what the oncologist thinks and see if he'll get his first round of chemo today. I do still plan to talk to the oncologist about Harvey. I think he needs to be seen, either by an oncologist, or an IM.
Thanks to everyone that has posted on yesterday's condo this morning. We appreciate all the vines and encouragement.
We are keeping @Paula and Michael in our thoughts and prayers today.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
