Oooooops! I would feel much better knowing that i'm not the only one who has had one of their kitties get into some dry kibble. Is it something that happens at least once to everyone. I really feel bad. I guess no matter how high or out of reach you think the older kitty can't go.... They can.
I'm pretty sure Tommy's +8 number is due to just that happening. I have taken measures to see it doesn't happen again. I'll test in just a while to see if we've come down from the ceiling. :roll:

i think punkin got into some old food on saturday night. no worries - i've heard lots of time on here that people have had that happen.

the official term is "contraband." :lol: just note it on your spread sheet. i like to use it just cuz it's such an awesome word! :lol:

How about a dosecrease up to 7.5u tonight? I'd like to see a little more of that yellow -- kibble or not!
 
Squirrel, I've lost count of the times that Tinkles has gotten into the drooler's kibble....he managed to snag 1 kibble last week, only ate about 1/4 of it, and his numbers were up over 100 pts for several hours. It happens....the numbers will be up for a while because it hangs around in their system, but it will pass.

Want a good laugh? I sat down one night to eat chili and homemade cornbread and then had to answer the phone. When I got back, Gracie had devoured ALL the cornbread....she is a cornaholic (which she has not intentionally had since being FD). Talk about numbers going up :lol: :lol:

Hope this gets out of Tommy's system quickly.
 
Guys, thank you so much for the funny stories and the good cheers, I still feel really bad that happened to him though. I don't ever want to let him down or cause his little system undo stress because of something i could have prevented. I really do appreciate you all letting me know that the high numbers will stay there for a while but will eventually come down..
 
Binks has gone through a smorgasbord of Contraband...the most notable being a Gummi Bear and Uh Oh, Spaghettios!
gotta admit it's hard to be stern when a kitty looks up at you with an orange-sauce-lipped grin! :-D
