tonya, don't feel one single bit bad that tiki's doing so well and other cats on here are still working on getting regulated. we celebrate everyone's success! many of the longer-term kitties have reasons why they haven't gone off - in punkin's case he has a brain tumor working against it. it puts out hormones that keep the insulin from working. every kitty is a little bit different situation, but while i can only speak for myself and what i've seen, everyone here feels some "ownership" of all of the other cats. we are SO glad when any cat goes OTJ.
so enjoy your moment, let us celebrate with you and get rid of that guilt! :YMHUG:

Hi Tonya,
It won't be long now! As Julie says, we love it when kitties go OTJ. And although not all kitties do go OTJ, they can still get regulated and lead good, happy, lives with FD. Rusty is our second FD kitty. We adopted him as an FD kitty. He is an absolute joy. And he's looking forward to helping with the cooking for Tiki's OTJ party (Rusty is a sous-chef, grill specialist).

Ok then....I'll try to stop feeling guilty but still feel bad nonetheless. Just wish everyone could be successful in regulating their little fur babies....
On a completely separate note....I JUST BOUGHT 20 MEGA MILLIONS TICKETS! I am so sure I just contributed to the jackpot as I don't usually even win a dollar from these dang things....but still enjoy a few mins of dreaming of what could be!!! First thing on my to do list would be:
QUIT MY JOB!!!
Then look for real estate on the beach with a nice patio to drink my congratulatory drink from! I can already feel the breeze in my hair and the sun on my face....ahhhhhhhh.

Oh, that sounds like me, I never even win a $1.
Can I ask you something? I am curious, and I didn't study many SS OTJ, but how much of the low blue numbers are still considered normal? Daphne is very green and a little blue in the AMPS and some late +10, 11, so I was just wondering if OTJ is in our future anytime soon?
Hope we have more luck in FD department too, then I do on the lottery. That beach house sounds good, with the drink even better! Oh well, dreaming will have to do for now :smile:

Tiki bounces into the blues I think right after he eats, which lately has been off and on. Now that he feels better he seems to have become Mr. Fussy Butt with his food. I've taken it down to three flavors that I rotate for him but he still gets fussy (which is strange to me when I think he ate the same dry food FOREVER and never cared).
Everytime I've posed the "what is the normal range question" I've gotten different answers so I'm not sure either. I prefer him to be in the greens all the time but he has other plans throughout the day. But they all keep telling me that the blues he has been up to are still ok so I am keeping my head low and hoping for the best!
They've never steered me wrong yet! LOL
