Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is starting off where he finished up last night--in the higher greens. The LagoonMeister is still on duty!! He had a good night, ate all his nighttime food, and we had a good morning routine this morning. But his breathing sounded really congested during our schmooze. He's OK now. I think this horrible weather is to blame.
We had about 3 inches of very heavy, very wet snow overnight and this morning when we got up it was freezing rain that was coming down. Now it's back to snow and our winter-weather advisory has been extended into tomorrow afternoon. So much for spring. I just hope all this sloppy precipitation doesn't melt too fast. We'll be in trouble if it does. When we step outside we sink down through the 3 inches of wet snow and leave watery footprints on the ice underneath! Ugh! We should be in "mud" season about now, but everything has been delayed this year.

Nothing much planned for today. We'll try to get out for a walk. My knee is still feeling pretty good.

Nice start for Rusty today. :mrgreen: I hope his breathing is better. Yuck on the weather. I'm glad your knee is feeling better. Be careful walking in that mess so you don't hurt it again.

Poor boy...I'm so sorry he was snuffly this morning and I hope he's better.

I just can't believe the winter you've been having. Ever think about being snowbirds to AZ? :lol: :lol: Be careful on your walk....I wouldn't want you to slip and reinjure the knee.

Oh..BTW...the blister was from a new pair of shoes I bought to wear with work dresses. I wore them to my Wednesday meetings and they rubbed a blister on the inside of my right heal. I thought it would be ok yesterday with a bandaid, socks, and my regular running shoes but it wasn't. Looks like moleskin for me next time I wear those shoes.

After all the lack of snow you had all winter, I'm sorry that THIS is what you're stuck with! C'mon, spring (without floods)....we ALL need it!

Hi again,
Rusty had an interesting afternoon. We went out to shovel the walk and could hear him howling inside, so I went to show him that we hadn't left him, we were just outside. He then decided to come out with us--in all of that icy, slushy snow, and proceeded to go around the corner of the house where there was no snow under the eves. After a few minutes he tried to get back but got stuck without a dry spot about 3 feet from the stoop. And he had to get his feet wet! Later in the afternoon he came down into the basement with me when I was working out on my bike and "did" the perimeter of the basement, getting into all the dust and spider webs, of course. Then we went upstairs and he enjoyed his +9 snack and hairball treat. I think he's getting adventurous now that "spring is just around the corner" :lol:

The sight of the Lagoonmeister on duty is a beautiful one. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Love the image of him being adventurous in "almost spring". Maybe he heard the noise from ChipChip in the greenhouse yesterday. :?

It sounds like Rusty has spring fever! Or cabin fever, from being inside hiding from all the bad weather :shock: .

I'm glad that he is showing everyone his status today as Lagoonmeister :mrgreen: . That's awesome that his congestion cleared up, and that your knee is feeling better! Have a great evening :-D
