Hi Everyone,
We are home in the Adirondacks after another puzzling day of bg numbers. We think that yesterday's PMPS may have been another fur shot (Edward smelled insulin several hours after the shot was given: but I didn't smell it when I gave the shot and I thought the shot went in!). In any event, the AMPS 230 this morning certainly indicates something--either a fur shot or the insulin pooping out. Of course there may be shed issues here, too. Anyway, the more I thought about it, the more I am inclined to believe that it may be the insulin (198 at PMPS is quite a jump for Rusty for that time of day!), so we began a new Lev. cartridge at PMPS tonight. I only got 28 days out of the old one; Lev. is supposed to be good for 42 days. The old cartridge was in the new insulin cooler on the trip to NYC, and I think it was too cold, even though I had wrapped it in papers.
Anyway, we are home safely and Rusty had a good trip. Tomorrow afternoon through Friday we are expecting 14 inches of new snow, so It's just as well that we left today and had good driving weather.
To visit a few condos now, before I conk out totally!
