Pretty low number today to start, compared to yesterdays 176, but I think that was a bad test yesterday and Rufus didn't eat much yesterday. Anyways, Rufus started his Atopica on Wednesday, and it actually seemed to start working that day. Itching was still there, but his tummy wasn't grumbly and he went and ate on his own 3 times (all kibble) and the good news is his numbers didn't soar! Yesterday was going good. Ate most of breakfast, then had some kibble around 11am. I gave him Atopica around 11:30 and then gave him his lunch at 1:00. At 2 he puked EVERYWHERE. Ugh. So it seems some cats do better on an empty stomach, and some do need food for the Atopica. Today we'll try on an empty stomach.

Had a preliminary job interview yesterday. Really exciting job that I would love, and pays great. There are a ton of applicants so not sure I'll get it. Just hoping and praying because it seems like a great fit for what I'd like to do. Excited and nervous at the same time.

Hope everyone has a great day today :)

Happy OTJ Trial day #8
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Crossing paws and vines for the job interview to blossom into the job!:bighug::bighug: Do they let staff bring their cats to work,?;)
Hope Rufus ‘s new med helps his itching and that his tummy settles.

I hope the job works out.

Wouldn't that be great?! I actually think Rufus is probably excited to gt me out of the house. Haven't worked for 10 months and it probably is stressing him out :)
Oh, I think Rufus appreciates...no...loves....your being at home time with him. He has you all to himself!

Read an article awhile ago about a corporate kind of company in Japan that encourages employees to bring their cats to work with them. And interviews include questions about the applicants affinity for animals and pets. ❤️

Nice AMBG! And congrats on day 8! Also, hope the Atopica helps him.

Also, very exciting about the job interview and I hope that you get the position! What good timing for Rufus to be diabetic while you were home and to be OTJ once you are employed again. Sometime, these cats do cooperate with us! ;)

Those Japanese do love their cats something else! I could talk about Rufus all day long :)

Thank you! I have been "lucky" to have been home with him this whole time! I'm going to take it as a sign that he is going OTJ and this great job came up. I keep saying that to myself, that at least this has all happened while I've been out of work.

Looking good on the second half of the trial. :D

Good luck with the Atopica and the job.

My previous job allowed pets at the workplace. I remember one time seeing a serious discussion going on between our chief scientist, a senior technical engineer and his cat. :) The two people were talking, and the cat was looking back and forth at the two of them. I am positive the cat helped some good ideas blossom.

Thanks Wendy! :)
