Morning ~O) this is a surprise with a high yellow. I tested three times, and also on my back-up. One time the meter said "LO", which I thought maybe it meant battery LO! The next reading read 295 and the back-up also tested about the same. I'm trying to analyze what happened. She had some Wellness and Evo overnight. I've been using the Greenies Chicken PP's, and using more of them, as Mags gets her b/p med in it, also her Pepcid and also the B-12 in a pp. I know some here said these can cause a spike.
Mags is feeling good though, as we had some play time back and forth with her mouse pole toy. She had two breffifs of BFF chicken & chuckles and a little Wellness. Mags had prezzies yesterday afternoon which was good news. Thanks Detective Poo, I saw your post after I checked out last evening. Yes, she did you proud. :-D Thanks also Deborah and John for your visits. Looking forward to a Mannie Triple Espresso.

Whoa, Mags, come down from there! We use the duck and pea PPs. I think the others have sugar. They all have carbs. Happy Caturday!

oh wow on that amps, not like Maggie. Maybe just an off morning for her. I suspect that the next test will be much better. :-D It sure was a nice day yesterday for Maggie. Mani thing is that she feels good: most important. Maggie - down yo go, 'K?

Well, I wasn't expecting Mags to put her on her Green Kini so soon. I don't know what caused the high AMPS, but she sure cleared it!

Hi Liz, looks like Mags listened. I may try the duck and pea pp's next time. Mags loves the chicken pp's, so hope so, too, on the duck and pea.

Hi Michelle, yes very unusual the yellow AMPS, yes I tested three timed. I'm just remembering I ha Neosporin on her testing ear. I wonder if too much neosporin would cause a wonky number? Her little ear was looking sore.

Hi Lisa, looks like Mags listened to her little bro and will be joining him in the sun. Good job on the tug, Leo! That number sure did come out of nowhere.

Well so much for that amps. Maggie, that was beautiful form off the high dive - now just surf along ok? I saw a pill paste at Ollie's vet last time we were there. I guess you just coat the pill. I didn't look at it for ingredients but maybe it could be an alternative to the pp? have a great day - mary and oliver

Thanks Raeifo :mrgreen: little Mags is full of surprises today. I found out last night she likes popcorn. I dropped one on the floor and she swooped it up and ate it!

Thanks Mary on Mags. She's glad you liked her high dive! :lol: That's interesting with the coating on the pill. I bought a bag of Greenies at the Vet, and they only charged a little over $6.00 whereas Petco's was almost $10.00 for a small bag/

Mags wants to please you so much and has given you a very nice green number after the high this morning. She loves her mommy and doesn't want to worry you. Glad she gave you some prezzies yesterday!

Hi Ann. Maggie must have read her condo and saw how confused she had made you so she decided to jump straight down to the Lagoon and yesterday gave you presents from the prezzie fairy as well. You have got to love that.

Is she still using her stairs? Have a great weekend Ann and a Happy Easter.

Amazing how quick, a kitty can be, huh Ann? :lol:

Checks loves the chicken PP and gets it with his Tap. He HATES the duck&pea. It smells horrible to me too.

Checks has trouble eating the PP, cause it gets slippery/slimy in his mouth and he has no back teeth and it keeps falling out of his mouth.
I have to wait with another small piece near him, to encourage him to hurry and swallow the one with the pill.
It doesn't seem to spike his numbers, so I hope you don't have to give them up.

Hi Barb, yes, you're right. Mags misses her kibble, so one paw to play around with it and then in the mouth. :-D Interesting with Checks and the pp. Mags doesn't have too many teeth either. I give her a little water in the syringe right after the pp to make sure she swallows it.

Nicely done Mags! I'd chalk it up to a bad strip, since her numbers have been so lovely since then!

Yay, back to normal Maggie numbers, or what is normal for her.

Thanks Ann & Tess, yeah something was definitely off there this morning, as she's had a nice surf today and stay in the Green Lagoon.
 
That's good Maggie got back to the lagoon today after that high start. Hopefully she'll give you more green tonight.
 
Very nice day for Mags...I'm jealous of her bounce-clearing skills! Who knows why they do that sometimes...crazy cats! I'm glad she's enjoying her Chuckles :lol: !!
